White Gables Residents Celebrate Shrove Tuesday

Residents and collegues at White Gables Care Home held a pancake flipping competition this morning to celebrate Shrove Tuesday.

There was fierce competition between the collegues and a more relaxed friendly rivalry between the residents to find who the best flipper in each category was.

Most pancakes fell on the floor a few times and one even managed to hit the ceiling! The Residents also found it very funny when the pancakes hit the floor.

Betty Cownie was the Pancake Master of the Resident's team with 30 flips!

Collegue Holly Sewell,commented:

"I can't believe I managed to hit the ceiling!" There really is nothing better than a laugh and joke, and a bit of pancake flipping, to brighten up a rainy Tuesday morning!
