Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal

Today residents picked a selection of daffodils from our gardens, tied them in bunches with different coloured ribbons to sell in aid of Marie Currie whose nurses offer specialist cancer care.

We also listened to relaxing classical music as we made our bunches, the particular piece of music which everyone enjoyed was by an English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams called the ‘Lark Ascending’.
