Lambton takes delivery of residents Touch Screen Activity Table.

Lambton House are pleased to announce that this week we took delivery of our new Residents Home Activity Touch Screen Table.

In recent weeks we have upgraded our data network infrastructure within Lambton and the rear garden to allow extended coverage and connectivity. Designed and supplied by Inspired Inspirations , the table will provide a technology based enhancement to our person centred care.

It can be used for individual and group activities and offers our residents an opportunity to engage in new fun digital experiences.

The table is moveable (on castors) and built with toughened wipe clean safety glass and battery life of 7 hours. The large screen on the table will help residents with vision impairments.

The Table Highlight of week was empowering a resident to use the table to find and see his brothers home in Australia for the first time, with the use of Google Earth App. A fabulous moment for our valued resident.
