National Chocolate Cake Day

National Chocolate Cake day is celebrated annually on January 27th to honour one of the world's most popular desserts.

It is a day dedicated to enjoying, baking, and sharing all varieties of chocolate cake from rich fudgy slices to light, airy sponges.

Our residents, not unsurprisingly needed little encouragement to take part in this deliciously indulgent celebration (a day in advance!) by making, baking, and most importantly tasting their home-made chocolate creations.
