We moved our mum from another nearby home where we had major problems with another resident attacking her. The change since we moved to Beaumont has been incredible - mum is happier, is getting up in the mornings and overall is more settled. Can't speak highly enough of the staff and facilities.
Thank you for taking time to leave a review of your experience with the home. I am pleased your mum has settled in so well and is so happy here. I will make sure I pass on your kind feedback to our staff.
The home is clean & tidy and the staff are friendly & welcoming. We always felt comfortable to know our parent was getting such great care. The staff where very caring both with the residents and the families too.
Thank you for taking time to leave us a review and for your lovely feedback. I know that reviews help potential residents and relatives in making their choice to move into care. I will make sure I pass on your feedback to our teams.
There's a great variety of activities on offer, so residents can always find something they enjoy. The kitchen is also very accommodating and will happily provide alternatives if something on the menu doesn't suit.
The facilities are well maintained and regularly updated, keeping everything clean, modern, and comfortable. What really stands out, though, is the care staff-they consistently go above and beyond, offering not just professional support but also a personal touch, taking the time to get to know residents and their families.
Thank you for your review Charlotte. I am pleased your Grandad feels happy and safe. Thank you also for your kind words about our staff, we are very proud to have such a wonderful team here at the Beaumont. I will be sure to pass on your feedback.
I can't speak highly enough of Beaumont Stamford Bridge. I moved my mum from a care home in the North West and the difference was like night and day. Staff at Beaumont go above and beyond in every way. It is immaculate, the food is first class, rooms are scrupulously clean and laundry is washed and actually returned to the residents. My mum had many complex physical and mental health issues, all of which were understood with empathy and dealt with professionally by staff. Sadly my mum developed a terminal condition. This was treated in Beaumont with compassion and she was nursed with such love and care for the 3+ years that she lived there right up until the end. It is very much a family rather than a care home and the staff truly set it apart. They have been there for me too and I felt their love and support when she passed away. I cannot recommend Beaumont enough and it was worth every penny to see her safe and so well cared for.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review at such a difficult time for yourself, reviews help us see how well we are doing and are used to improve the service we provide. I am pleased we were able to make such a difference to your mum and I will be sure to pass on your kind words to the staff in all departments.
Nothing is too much trouble, and everything is done with a smile.
To know that our parent is safe, happy, and brilliantly cared for is everything.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of our home. We are incredibly proud of the care we give and learn from all types of feedback, I will make sure I share your comments with the staff.
The home was clean, no smell, menus displayed and well presented dining room and lovely reception and lounge area.
View from the bedroom was disappointing and the outside area was limited.
Visitors are treated really well and drinks are always available which is a nice added extra
Thank you for taking the time to review our home and the service. We are pleased you were welcomed so well, we pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere. We will be working on the outside areas ahead of spring and summer to make the most of the gardens.
I value the break enormously because I have chance to recharge my batteries.
The arrangement only works so well because of the amazing team at Beaumont.
We both get such a lovely warm welcome when we arrive. It feels as though we are returning to our extended family.
The staff are very caring and professional and also very kind. When I was unwell they supported me which I really appreciated.
The nurses and care staff listen and make note of any changes in my husband's condition when he is admitted so that I know his needs will be met and I have 100% confidence in their skills.
There is also lots of laughter and fun which is brilliant and most welcome.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review about your experience of respite at Stamford Bridge Beaumont. I am pleased that we can help you both regularly in this way. I will pass on your kind comments to the staff and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
My father in law was being supported with palliative & end of life care due to a life limiting disease. The care given was exceptional and his needs were met in a dignified & person centered way. Staff were attentive and compassionate which also extended to us a family especially in the latter days of life. Communication was excellent & we were informed of any changes in condition. Symptom management was carried out quickly & effeciontly by trained nurses & we were afforded privacy & support on the final day of life.
Thank you for your review. We value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Thank you also for your positive comments regarding our home and team, who work hard to deliver high standards of quality care at all times. I will pass on your feedback to the team.
From our very first visit, when we were shown round, the team have given us time, reassurance and confidence in them. They continue with this now, with all the team ensuring that my aunt is treated well, with everyone checking that she is ok and making her cups of tea (even knowing show she likes it!)
Thank-you to all the team for all that you have done, it is very much appreciated.

Since becoming a resident I have found the treatment she is receiving is both professional and caring the nursing staff are first class and the carers the same you get the loving personal touch as in holding her hand and asking if she needed anything all nice touches that give the feeling that nothing is too much trouble there are a lot of activities and trips out for those who want to participate all in all my wife is very happy with everything that is happening
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of the home. I will be sure to pass on your kind words to all the teams at the home.
The staff are well trained and demonstrate their commitment to care of the elderly.
If their is room for improvement it would be more thorough training in understanding life through the " eyes " of a blind person.
Thank you for your review and feedback. I will pass on your feedback to all the staff, and will be implementing some work around visual impairments in the near future.
We chose Stamford Bridge Beaumont for respite care for my mum, and are delighted with our choice. Within a few minutes of mum arriving, she was being wheeled inside while the manager held an umbrella over her head, presented with a welcome back card, offered a choice of lunch, her room re-arranged to suit her needs, and staff who had met her previously popping in to her room to catch up and see if she had everything she needed. The staff are exceptional in their warmth and friendliness, welcoming mum back into their home with a genuine desire to ensure she enjoys her stay and benefits from the additional support and safety that they can provide. From small things like remembering she doesn't like broccoli to big things like going out of their way to support her with pain management in the middle of the night. They provide care to mum with dignity and fun, and provide reassurance to us as a family with compassion and understanding.

'Thank you' most sincere to all the staff at the Barchester care home Stamford Bridge for the excellent care and nursing for my wife. So much love and support was given to her and myself whilst she was palliative care. They are great team, have working with an attitude 'that nothings is too much trouble'.

When they arrived we worried that mum's health was so poor that she would not survive long. However, thanks to the care she received from dedicated staff she was nursed back to good health and able to carry on, make new friends and enjoy being part of a community again as well as sharing 4 more years with dad. With their support, she was able to continue to care for him as his dementia progressed.
She spoke fondly of many of the staff as if they were members of her new family. This gave us all great comfort and we were able to see the positive effect it had in their smiling faces on our many visits.
Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback which means so much to the whole team. I shall share your kind words with all the staff who have cared for your parents. Your parents have made a difference to us all, and it has been a pleasure to help them enjoy their time with us.
The home was so clean.

Firstly without this wonderful home and excellent staff. From the cleaners, to the nursing staff, each and everyone of them are fantastic, caring and kind. We as a family would not have coped with dementia. The nursing care is truly something I've never experienced. The activities make my mum came to life, especially the singing. I live in London and I'm always welcomed here with open arms. The food is so wonderful. My mum has started eating again.

I visit my husband at the care home on a regular basis, i.e. two/three times per week. He started off in a small room and after a number of months was moved to a larger room. The armchair in this room was very uncomfortable so I got him a new riser/recliner. There was no quilt on the bed so I ordered him new bedding, including a quilt. The furniture in the room is so outdated and does not even resemble your TV adverts. For the money I have to pay out, with the help of the council, it does not give value for money.
Thanks for your review. We are sorry to read your comments, especially about the decor of our home. We understand a refresh of your husband's room has been offered and declined by him as he is happy with his room, please do let us know if he changes his mind. We are sorry to read your comments...
Overall, very happy - 100%.

Meet the Team (13)

Hi, my name is Emma and I am the General Manager here at Stamford Bridge. Welcome to our website! I have been working for Barchester since 2015. I qualified as a general nurse in 2004, and have worked as a nurse within the local community and hospitals in the area, and I am passionate about delivering the highest quality of care to those we support. There's never a dull day!
I consider myself to be extremely privileged to work with such wonderful people, full of humour with wonderful stories to tell. I know it’s a cliché, but we are like one big happy family—I love being here! I am lucky to be supported by a fantastic team that demonstrates a nurturing warm and compassionate approach. The home's core objective is to promote quality ethos-centred person-centred care, enabling and giving peace of mind to everyone we come into contact with.

Rachael qualified as a nurse in 2006. For the first four and a half years she worked in respiratory for those with high dependency. Rachael then worked in oncology for four years. Before joining Barchester in 2018 Rachael spent four years with a private care provider as a nurse consultant.
Rachael leads her team to deliver the highest standards of nursing care to our residents, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.

Bryan initially came to the Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home in 2022 for 4 weeks' respite after having contracted a virus and spending 6 weeks in hospital.
As his respite came to an end, Bryan's family pointed out to him how well he looked and how much he was enjoying himself after spending time in the home recovering, and he decided to make Stamford Bridge Beaumont his home.
Originally, Bryan first came to the village in 1988, before in 1995 becoming the lay minister for the home.
Bryan speaks with great affection about how much his faith means to him; he is also a keen cricket fan, having played for the Surrey Colts when he was younger, and he is a lifelong fan of Arsenal Football Club.

Hi, I am Jennie, I am the Administrator at Stamford Bridge Beaumont and I am responsible for all the financial activities in the home along with the general administration. I joined the home in October 2023.
I have worked within the care system since 1992, I love the digital part of my role and have always enjoyed working with spreadsheets and have a degree in IT. Outside of work, I love to run, knit and visit my family who live in Birmingham.

I have worked in the care sector for 36 years, initially working for the NHS at Brandesburton Hospital as a care assistant. When the hospital closed I transferred to Townend Court and continued as a care assistant on the forensic ward for people with a learning disability. It was whilst working with the Occupational therapists at Townend that I discovered my passion for engaging the patients in activities of their choosing, I’m quite artistic and creative so it was an easy transition
I have many years of experience working with the older generation and those who live with dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and other diagnoses.
I am really looking forward to bringing both my experience and passion to my new role and to seeing the positive impact on our resident population.
