Lovely welcome and greeting at reception. All staff friendly, helpful and polite. Lovely, well-presented surroundings, clean, light and airy. Loved the old photos of Stamford Bridge displayed on the walls. Personable and thoughtful little touches such as resident's birthdays of the month. Lots of activities on offer, lovely range. Wow! What an amazing dining room, decor, menu and table settings, like a restaurant - what a lovely experience for residents. My aunt loves it here.
Thank you for your review. We value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Thank you also for your positive comments regarding our home and team, who work hard to deliver high standards of quality care at all times. I will pass on your feedback to the team.
The care home team have been just superb, not only at looking after Mum but supporting and watching out for our family. Mum, sadly, passed away last month after a difficult few years. We could not have hoped for better care, support and an end to Mum's days. The care home staff work as a team, care about their residents and to us, became a second family. The manager and deputy manager of the home have done such a good job creating a professional yet warm and caring environment.
Thank you for your feedback and for thinking of writing this at such a difficult time for yourself and your family. We always welcome feedback to help us improve our service and to see where we are doing well. I will be sure to share your review with all the staff who are so humble of the impact they make on residents and their families. Thinking of you all.
The management team's positive leadership has resulted in a lovely "family atmosphere" which has transformed the home.
Staff in every department have embraced the manager and deputy managers' vision to provide an environment where everyone is valued.
When my wife was on "end-of-life care" the devotion and love shown by all the staff was wonderful and they could not have been more supportive.
The team at Stamford Bridge Beaumont deserve some recognition and praise for what they have achieved so far.
They should be commended.
Thank you Beaumont from me and all the family.
Thank you for taking the time to recognise all the staff at such a difficult time for yourself and your family. We are always grateful to hear about people's experiences of our service and I am proud to be able to share your kind words with our whole team who are humble about the good work they do. Thinking of you all at this time.
We as a family feel settled, reassured, comfortable, and at ease knowing our relative is receiving such great care and love. All the team from cleaners to management are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble.
Our auntie has been with Beaumont for nearly a year and since day 1 she has received excellent care. Each time we visit we are always updated on anything whether it is that she's had a tough morning to that she's been out and about shopping with the activities team, communication with the carers and nurses is excellent.

My husband was admitted here. He came from a hospital outside this area and was in a bad state from not receiving the proper care. He received the best of care, the staff were wonderful at every level. He was treated with respect and was allowed dignity despite being so very ill. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was excellent, chef did all she could to build him up and tempt his appetite. The nursing sisters and nurse practioner were excellent, trying to control his pain levels and I truly feel we were surrounded by angels in the last 3 weeks of his life. There was a friendly feel to the place as every member of staff at all levels worked and laughed together. Their interaction with the residents was a delight to see. The management staff were friendly and efficient. The cleaning staff kept the place immaculate and had a nice rapport while cleaning his room daily.
Thank you all so much for your care and support. We will always remember you all.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback, we are incredibly proud of all the team and I will make sure to share your comments with everyone involved. I am pleased we could make such a difficult time a little brighter, and send our thoughts and condolences to you and your family.
My care was excellent during the day. Lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. A very happy atmosphere. During the night, was bad a couple of nights, not so good. Staff not too good on English and quite uncertain at times as to what I wished.

My very elderly mother entered Beaumont Care Home Stamford Bridge extremely ill. She had dementia, heart failure, mitral cusp prolapse, cranial arteritis and rheumatoid arthritis. She was admitted after hospital falls. She was bedbound and doubly incontinent. She was not eating and seemingly unable to communicate. Thanks to Beaumont's excellent care she began to feed herself. She began to recognise family and friends. She enjoyed going through family photograph albums - identifying faces and handwriting from the distant past. There was never a smell. She became settled and content. The care of Beaumont and family and friends gave her a year of kindness and happy parting.

My mother was always dressed in clean clothes, Mum never smelt and above all else I thought she was happy. It is always a nightmare when setting out on the journey to find a good home for one's parents as one hears so many horror stories - but I would recommend Barchester Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home.

Dad has been at the Barchester Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home for the last ten months, unable to return home after a stroke. In that time, he has settled in better than we could have hoped and seems as content as he can be, given his situation. The care staff look after him so well and treat him with respect and dignity but he is also able to enjoy a laugh and joke with them which I know he enjoys. They and all the other staff are friendly and welcoming to us and all his friends who visit regularly. The home is spotlessly clean and warm but the main thing for me is that I know that Dad is safe and well looked after.
Thank you for your feedback which is valuable to us in helping us understand where we are doing well and where we can improve. I will be sure to pass on your feedback to the staff who will be pleased to hear such a positive review.
I had a hip replacement on 10/01/24 at the hospital. As I live on my own I needed to be monitored for 2 weeks. I cannot speak highly enough of how I was looked after in Beaumont. Nothing was too much trouble. I especially want to thank the manager for helping me to relax and to help me to recover. Also a very big thank you to five members of staff in particular. You all made my stay very enjoyable and certainly memorable. Laughs galore. An afternoon gala especially.

Dad came to The Beaumont in Stamford Bridge 20 months ago. I can honestly say the love and care he has received has been amazing. The staff are always friendly and smiling, and nothing is too much trouble. We, as a family, have been touched by their dedication. The home is beautifully clean, and it feels like a real home from home. Dad has been so well cared for i.e. hairdressing and shaving, all his clothes freshly laundered and ironed. They never failed to keep us updated with any medical concerns, phoning us up and letting us know. I can’t sing their praises enough. Thank you to all of you.

The care home is clean and warm. And the staff are very kind and caring with my mother. Respect and dignity are vitally important when patients like my mother with Alzheimer's are concerned, and my mother receives both.

I am always kept informed of any issues. Staff are friendly and helpful. Given good standard of care and support to myself and my Relative. If any treatment of illness is required I know that it would be given.

Following almost a year of hospital in 2022 and a stay in another rehabilitation centre, it has been like a breath of fresh air coming to the lovely Barchester Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home for respite care. Have been looked after well both day and night. My thanks to all.
Thank you for your review and your feedback. I will ensure I pass this on to the staff, we are very proud of all our staff and residents and are so pleased you are happy here.
Dad was in residential care for six months and at all times was treated with respect and received the care he required. The end-of-life care provided to dad was exemplary as was the care shown to the family before and after dad passed away.

Criticism is difficult because the home is geared toward looking after its residents in the best possible way and making sure that all their needs are met. If a care home is needed, it is difficult to imagine a better one than the Barchester at Stamford Bridge.

My mum has been at the Beaumont for just over two years, and the care and attention she receives are second to none. The staff are absolutely amazing and are always so cheerful, even in the most difficult of times. They really do care about all the residents and are always there to help if needed. My mum's quality of life has improved, and I am very grateful to the manager and her team for looking after my mum.
We value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. I will pass on your feedback to the team.
Lovely and clean. Food wonderful. Staff very friendly, helpful and cheerful. During the day, I was able to leave him in capable hands whilst I visited friends and relations in Stamford Bridge.
Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure to welcome you and your husband to Stamford Bridge Beaumont, and glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to seeing you again soon. I will pass on your feedback to the team.

Meet the Team (13)

Hi, my name is Emma and I am the General Manager here at Stamford Bridge. Welcome to our website! I have been working for Barchester since 2015. I qualified as a general nurse in 2004, and have worked as a nurse within the local community and hospitals in the area, and I am passionate about delivering the highest quality of care to those we support. There's never a dull day!
I consider myself to be extremely privileged to work with such wonderful people, full of humour with wonderful stories to tell. I know it’s a cliché, but we are like one big happy family—I love being here! I am lucky to be supported by a fantastic team that demonstrates a nurturing warm and compassionate approach. The home's core objective is to promote quality ethos-centred person-centred care, enabling and giving peace of mind to everyone we come into contact with.

Rachael qualified as a nurse in 2006. For the first four and a half years she worked in respiratory for those with high dependency. Rachael then worked in oncology for four years. Before joining Barchester in 2018 Rachael spent four years with a private care provider as a nurse consultant.
Rachael leads her team to deliver the highest standards of nursing care to our residents, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.

Bryan initially came to the Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home in 2022 for 4 weeks' respite after having contracted a virus and spending 6 weeks in hospital.
As his respite came to an end, Bryan's family pointed out to him how well he looked and how much he was enjoying himself after spending time in the home recovering, and he decided to make Stamford Bridge Beaumont his home.
Originally, Bryan first came to the village in 1988, before in 1995 becoming the lay minister for the home.
Bryan speaks with great affection about how much his faith means to him; he is also a keen cricket fan, having played for the Surrey Colts when he was younger, and he is a lifelong fan of Arsenal Football Club.

Hi, I am Jennie, I am the Administrator at Stamford Bridge Beaumont and I am responsible for all the financial activities in the home along with the general administration. I joined the home in October 2023.
I have worked within the care system since 1992, I love the digital part of my role and have always enjoyed working with spreadsheets and have a degree in IT. Outside of work, I love to run, knit and visit my family who live in Birmingham.

Louise always goes the extra mile in pre-empting situations; she keeps regular contact with families and ensures they are always high on her list of priorities.
Louise's attention to detail with residents, staff and relatives, means that she delivers an excellent level of service at all times.
Her contribution to the Memory Lane team inspires everyone who works with her. She has worked incredibly hard to achieve her role as a care practitioner and continues to learn and improve.
In 2016, Louise was named as a Divisional Winner for Memory Lane Champion in the Barchester Care Awards.

Amy has been a long-standing member of the Beaumont family since 2015 and is proud to make up part of the home's team of nurses.
She speaks passionately about how much she loves being a part of the team and feels an immense loyalty to the home and its residents.
Amy says that it is such a privilege to give back and to be in care.
Away from home, she is a proud Mum to her son and is passionate about her role on the preschool committee, supporting parents with children with disabilities.

Amy is proud to serve as the Head Chef at the Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home and has been a much-valued member of the team since 2004.
She takes great pride in getting to know our residents and their loved ones and preparing tailor-made dishes of the highest quality for our residents based on their input, likes and dislikes.
Away from home, Amy loves to spend time with her two children and Reggie the family English Bulldog.

I have worked in the care sector for 36 years, initially working for the NHS at Brandesburton Hospital as a care assistant. When the hospital closed I transferred to Townend Court and continued as a care assistant on the forensic ward for people with a learning disability. It was whilst working with the Occupational therapists at Townend that I discovered my passion for engaging the patients in activities of their choosing, I’m quite artistic and creative so it was an easy transition
I have many years of experience working with the older generation and those who live with dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and other diagnoses.
I am really looking forward to bringing both my experience and passion to my new role and to seeing the positive impact on our resident population.

Hannah has been a part of the Stamford Bridge Beaumont since 2021 and is a much-valued member of our team of care assistants.
She speaks about the feeling of family within the home and the brilliant team she is a part of.
Away from the home, Hannah loves to spend time with her family.

She loves the home’s upbeat atmosphere and the sense of being part of a large family. Jessica is deeply passionate about supporting both her residents and their relatives.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading romance novels and spending quality time with her family.

Sharon joined the home in April 2023 after moving up from the south, and she immediately felt welcomed by the whole team, with a special thanks to the home manager for helping her settle in so quickly.
She’s enjoyed learning new skills and loves being part of such a supportive, close-knit team with plenty of opportunities to grow.
Away from work, Sharon is a proud mum who loves making memories with her children, whether they’re out on adventures, visiting London, or she is also passionate about cooking.

Russell joined the Stamford Bridge Beaumont family in 2026 and is proud to be the home's Head of Maintenance.
He takes great pride in his role and is passionate about maintaining the home to the most highest standard.

Mark joined the Beaumont family in the Spring of 2026 and is proud to be part of the home maintenance team.
He speaks about the feeling of being part of a team in the home and how well everyone works together to benefit our residents.
