The care team and residents at our Luton-based residential care home, Little Bramingham Farm, are getting ready to welcome visitors to its family fun-filled Easter fun community event. “Join us on Wednesday 1st April, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. as Little Bramingham Farm will be visited by a ‘Fur-tastic’ group of friendly animals and also hosting an ‘Egg-citing’ Easter Chocolate Hunt,” said Emma Lawrance, the Registered Manager at the care home.
“It’s no ‘Yolk’, the Easter Bunny is getting lots of ‘Eggs-ercise’ as he’s already hopping around making sure all the ‘Egg-stra’ special arrangements are perfect, ‘Egg-specially’ the Easter Egg Hunt – he ‘Carrot’ wait to meet everyone,” added Karen Charity, the Activities Coordinator at Little Bramingham Farm.
“The Easter Bunny has been ‘Egg-cellent’ and really’ helpful,” continued Emma. “He’s got a ‘Hare-raising’ stash of scrummy chocolate eggs which he’ll hand out to the children, residents and everyone who completes the Easter Egg Hunt.”
Ark Farm, one of the leading mobile farms in the UK, will be setting up an Easter Petting Zoo as well. “The Ark Farm team’s animals are all very ‘Egg-sperienced’ at being handled and will remain calm and friendly whilst they are at our Easter event,” added Karen.
“They have a wide range of animals which include Bantam Chickens, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, a Pygmy Hedgehog, a Leopard Tortoise, a Barn Owl, Sugar Gliders and lovely Dogs,” continued Emma. “Interacting and engaging with the animals – petting, stroking and even spoiling them approved treats – is a wonderful hands-on activity for the residents and we know the visiting children will enjoy the Easter Zoo as well.”
There will also be delicious refreshments available throughout the Easter Fun Day from Susie’s Tea Room, which is located in the care home’s stunning grounds. Visitors can also pre-order lunch boxes in advance for £6.50p by calling 07884 498 348.
“There’s no need to book, visitors can just turn up at Little Bramingham Farm from 10:30 a.m. and enjoy an inclusive, fun and accessible Easter ‘Hop’ which will be fun for everyone. The Easter Bunny, who is our favourite practical ‘Yolker’, will also be around to keep the party going and have lots of photos taken with our visitors,” said Emma.
“Everyone at the care home is super ‘Egg-cited’ and looking forward to spending a fantastic time with our neighbours, members of the local community, family, loved ones and friends. It really will be an ‘Easter-tastic’ event,” concluded Emma.
