Garden Club at Manor Cottage

At Manor Cottage, the garden has been a lovely place to spend time recently, as residents have been getting involved in planting a variety of vegetables as part of the home’s garden club.

Working alongside a work placement student, residents have been hands-on in preparing, planting and chatting their way through the sessions. It has been a relaxed and enjoyable way to spend time together, with plenty of conversation, shared knowledge and a few laughs along the way.

For many, gardening is something that feels familiar, whether it brings back memories of tending to a garden at home or simply enjoying being outdoors and close to nature. Taking part in these sessions offers a chance to reconnect with those experiences in an easy and natural way.

As the weeks go on, everyone is looking forward to seeing how the vegetables grow and continuing to spend time out in the garden together.
