World Art Day

To celebrate World Art Day we decided to try something a little different: we looked at famous paintings we recognised and then chose ones that we thought we could recreate. Bert made a fantastic ‘Laughing Cavalier’ by Frans Hals; which made a change as he said, " having been a policeman all my life, I was known as the "laughing policeman!". ‘Dogs Playing Poker’ by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge caused a lot of hilarity, especially finding and making the props. We had a lot of fun!
