We would like to congratulate Adam Collings on completing the London Marathon on Sunday with a fantastic finishing time of 5.10 hours ??
Despite pulling his hamstring half way through the race, Adam carried on regardless, refusing to give up he pushed on to cross the finish line!
Adam’s grandparents live at Reigate Grange, and are both are living with dementia. He chose to take on his first ever marathon in support of the Alzheimer’s Society, a charity that provides vital support, care and research for people living with dementia and their families ??
Adam set himself an initial fundraising target of £2,500, which he has not only reached but significantly exceeded. Thanks to incredible generosity, he has raised a total (so far) of £4,379.05 for the Alzheimer’s Society-an amazing achievement ??
