Our residents visited the Quaker meeting house at Come-to-Good, built in 1710, and it felt like stepping back in time. The building still has many original features, which made it very special to see.
We were given a warm welcome by the members, who kindly shared a short talk about the history of the Quakers and their beliefs in kindness and equality. They were happy to answer our questions and took time to explain everything clearly.
