A traditional St George’s Day celebration at Woodstock Care Home

We celebrated St George’s Day on Thursday 23 April in true British style here at our Care Home in Sittingbourne, and what a fantastic day it was! Our residents enjoyed a classic English feast of fish and chips with all the trimmings, followed by the ever-popular Arctic roll for dessert. It was a nostalgic menu that proved to be a firm favourite and went down an absolute treat.

The celebrations continued with a special visit from our fabulous Pearly Queen, who brought plenty of Cockney charm and energy to the afternoon. With familiar tunes filling our lounge, we were soon clapping along and taking to the floor for a dance — the perfect way to enjoy our St George’s celebrations!
