Dungate Manor Team Enjoys Memorable Visit to Reigate Priory Bowling Club

The team and residents from Dungate Manor enjoyed a wonderful visit today to Reigate Priory Bowling Club, strengthening community ties through sport and shared experience.

As one of the club’s proud sponsors this year, Dungate Manor was delighted to visit in person and meet members face-to-face. A warm welcome from Briony and Bob helped create an inviting and relaxed atmosphere from the outset.

We were treated to an engaging bowls demonstration and masterclass led by Terry and Richard, who shared their expertise and encouraged participation. Both staff and residents had the opportunity to get involved, with everyone thoroughly enjoying trying something new.

One resident shared their enthusiasm, saying: "I’ve never tried bowls before, but I absolutely loved it. Everyone was so friendly, and it was such a lovely day out, I can’t wait to come back"

Care Manager Felicia also praised the experience, adding: "It’s been a fantastic afternoon for both our residents and team. Opportunities like this are so important, bringing people together, trying new activities, and being part of the local community. We’re incredibly grateful for such a warm welcome."

Set within beautiful surroundings, the club stood out for its friendly and inclusive environment, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

The Dungate Manor team is already looking forward to returning for the club’s open day on Saturday, 16 May.
