Grace Court Hosts “Sips on the Patio” Event

Grace Court care home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, was delighted to welcome residents, relatives, and staff to a vibrant outdoor event, “Sips on the Patio,” held on Friday, 1 May. Organised to make the most of the warm 22-degree weather, the event transformed the home’s patio into a lively social hub filled with music, laughter, and refreshing cocktails.

The Grace Court team opened the bistro doors and beautifully decorated the patio area, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment. A dedicated cocktail station, run by Barista Connor, offered a variety of drinks ranging from Piña Coladas to Blue Lagoons. Residents and their families gathered in the sunshine, enjoying music, dancing, and each other’s company.

The event aimed to create something a little different from traditional care home activities. The result was a lively and uplifting atmosphere described as “absolutely buzzing,” with laughter, dancing, and music throughout the afternoon.

Highlights of the day included spontaneous dancing from residents Mavis and Heather, families expressing delight at the joyful setting, and many residents already asking when the next patio event will take place.

“Sips on the Patio” reflects Grace Court’s ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of its residents, demonstrating that care home living can be filled with meaningful and enjoyable experiences.
