VE Day

Celebrating VE Day with a wonderful community street party. Residents, families and staff enjoyed traditional Fish and chips served in boxes, bringing back memories of classic British celebrations and wartime spirit. Our beautiful celebration cake was officially cut by our resident ambassador, marking the occasion with pride and togetherness. The morning was filled with music as our community choir led everyone in singing familiar wartime favourites, creating a fantastic atmosphere of unity and joy. We finished the celebrations with entertainment, dancing and plenty of smiles as everyone enjoyed the sounds of timeless music together. A truly memorable day honouring courage, resilience and community spirit.
