Every month Chris enjoys attending 'Our Space' hosted by the amazing Friends of Bishopstone Station The project is called ‘Our Space’ for those aged 65 and older. This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between older people living in residential care and those in their own homes, combating social isolation and loneliness. By fostering connections, it helps residents feel integrated into their local community. ‘Our Space’ takes place on the second Friday morning of each month 10 -12, offering a chance for social interaction, delicious food, and great company, along with occasional talks and activities. The goal is to reduce isolation for care home residents and enhance community engagement for everyone involved.' Everyone is always so welcoming and easy to talk to, it has been an amazing experience and Chris always look forward to the next session. A big thank you to all the volunteers at FOBS, the work you do for the community is amazing and greatly appreciated.?? FOBS have so many different projects going on so please do have a look on their page ?? Friends of Bishopstone Station
