Claridge Place Resident Wish Granted with Surprise Trip to LTA Edgbaston

Claridge Place Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, is delighted to share the story of a very special resident experience, as Peter, one of their residents, had his heartfelt wish fulfilled with a surprise visit to a live tennis tournament at the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) event in Edgbaston.

Peter expressed a lifelong passion for tennis and shared his wish to once again experience the excitement of watching a live match in person. Having previously enjoyed attending LTA events years ago, the opportunity held deep personal significance for him.

On the 4th of June, Peter was surprised with tickets to the tournament, presented by Stacey, Senior Customer Relations Manager (CRM). The outing was carefully arranged by Stacey and included attendance at the Edgbaston LTA event, where Peter was joined by two fellow residents for the day.

The group enjoyed a courtside experience, taking in the atmosphere and watching several matches up close. The visit proved to be a deeply meaningful occasion, with Peter enjoying the entire day and sharing his appreciation for the opportunity throughout.

Stacey, Senior Customer Relations Manager, commented on the experience:

“I was delighted to arrange a special surprise trip to the LTA tournament in Edgbaston. Peter was given fantastic centre court seats, allowing him to enjoy the atmosphere and watch several matches up close. Tennis has always brought him so much joy and it was a privilege to be able to organise this for him.”
