Volunteer Anne

Meet Ann Haniff, one of our wonderful volunteers who has been popping into Corrina Lodge for many years. Ann lives locally in Camberley and, since losing her husband three years ago, she’s found real joy in spending time with our residents especially those who don’t have friends or family nearby.

Ann loves a good chat and has built some lovely friendships here. She and resident Stephan often bond over their shared love of music, and she enjoys swapping childhood wartime stories with a couple of other residents too.

Ann knows Corrina Lodge from both sides having stayed with us for three weeks of respite care after surgery.

To keep herself feeling fit and well, Ann goes to a weekly cardiac class at the gym, joins Corrina Lodge's regular yoga sessions, and always walks over to see us from her home just around the corner.
