Each resident is treated as an individual & this is their home. The atmosphere is always happy & cheerful. My mother is very well cared for and wants for nothing. I can't thank the staff enough for their care.

The home is extremely welcoming to family & friends. Mum has settled in so well after 2yrs. I feel comfortable leaving mum in their care & the staff (all staff) are very sensitive to her needs & understands her needs. Everytime I visit residents are happy & they get the residents involved in many
activities that can stimulate the brain. I am extremely happy with all the care.

From the first time we came to view Oakhaven me and a relative we knew it was the right place and was hoping there would be a vacancy. Since being here his health and welfare has improved 100% he is very happy here and being well looked after.

The care my mum received whilst at Oakhaven, and right up to her passing was exceptional. The love, support and care were second to none for my dear mum as well as myself and our family. From the very start of Mum's residency, every member of staff was professional, friendly and kind. I would highly
recommend Oakhaven to anyone looking for care for a loved one. Fabulous place with amazing and special staff.

Simply outstanding care of my mum and all of our family at a time of crisis for us. Mum had exceptional love and care from all the staff right up to the management, we were all made to feel very welcome and supported during a difficult time for us all, Oakhaven became our happy place, when its my
time I want to come here.

The time Mom has spent here have enabled her to recover ready for her next adventure.

Mum has been a resident at Oakhaven for 11 months and has been extremely happy with the care, facilities, meals and feels very safe in their hands. As her daughter, I feel I have chosen the best care home for her needs and feel very happy that any concerns I've had have been dealt with swiftly and
professionally. Would not hesitate to recommend Oakhaven.

Both my nana and aunt have been very happy at Oakhaven, I feel it to be a home from home. Happy environment, staff care and are always willing to listen to any concerns. Clean, well staffed and very professional, respecting all needs and cultural needs too. Visiting times is an open-door approach.
My aunt came on respite and is now happy in the home.

My relative moved into Oakhaven 6 months ago with advanced dementia but otherwise good physical health. The staff have been kind, caring and attentive with an excellent eye for life-improving details. We know that sight and especially hearing can be central to dementia patients wellbeing and so
staff pay particular attention to hearing aids and spectacles. But we feel fortunate to be able to visit at any time (we have a base nearby) and we all enjoy the meals, the humour of the staff and sometimes some joint activities.

Mum spent the last ten months of her life at Oakhaven and celebrated her 100th birthday there. She received champagne, a cake and a book celebrating her years. I cannot rate the staff at Oakhaven too highly. Residents get regular one-to-ones with staff and it is clear that it is not just a job that
they are doing, it is done with real love for the individual. It was very special that they went to lengths to find out what Mum liked, she loved her daily bath! I know she enjoyed the trips out in the minibus. Mum didn't want to move from her own home and even though Mum's lack of memory led to confusion about where she was and why she was there, she often told me, “It’s like a five-star hotel. I am looked after very well and I have nothing to complain about”. The staff were constantly reassuring to her. I was always made welcome whenever I visited and I was able to talk to staff when it was necessary. I'll always be grateful for the care and love that Mum received at Oakhaven.
