Absolutely marvellous care home, all the staff are super helpful and caring. Great service all very welcoming when we visit. Couldn't ask for a better service.

Our dear mum has recently celebrated her 2nd anniversary at Stormont Care Home. She could not be more happy and contented at Stormont and this is 100% down to the care and great kindness she receives from everyone there, management and staff alike. If only all care homes could be like Stormont, the
world would be a better place and people would be less stressed when the times comes in their life that residential care is required. The activities such as bus trips, live music performances and last week I was honoured to be present when the local school children called in for a visit. The visit of the Shetland ponies was a particularly magical event for mum as she loves horses and it's great to know they'll be back for a return visit. It was delightful to see the smiling faces of the residents as they got to pet the horses, it was really special. Keep up the great work you do and please know how much we all appreciate what you do, you are all wonderful.

My mum has been in Stormont for over 6 months and has had excellent care. Despite all the daily activities for the residents, she prefers to stay in her room, the staff are very patient with her and look after her very well.
The home is like a caring family and the staff and management should be
complimented for their cheeriness and hard work.

When my brother went into Stormont Lodge he was in a very poor physical state. His mental health wa also poor. It did not take the team at Stormont Lodge long to bring him back from the brink; they have done a fantastic job over the past 2 years. Dawn and her team have been fantastic.

I am happy with mum's care at the home. She is always clean and tidy. There is always something going on for the residents, and the staff really care. Since Dawn has taken over as the manager, the home feels warmer, and nothing is too much trouble. The carers are superb; however Mags stands out as
wonderful.

My husband is now in full time care. It is very upsetting but the staff are so good, it helps me know he is well looked after and I am looked after with help and updates.
The lounge and dining area are clean and tidy and the food looks good. Games are fun for all and a party is due at the end of
October.
My husband is safe and well cared for and that helps me.

This was my first visit to the care home, and it was delightful to see and hear from the residents how happy they were to be there. They are kept fully occupied and entertained, and friendships are made. I was welcomed as a visitor and invited to join the activities, and shared a meal with everyone.
The follow-up with photos of the day and past events is great. A happy home to live in.

I am really pleased with the care my dad receives at Stormont Lodge. The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome when you visit. Also, it is kept very clean and there is an array of activities that are continually organised. The variety of meals offered is also great.

I really appreciate the kind, attentive, professional way the staff here look after and care for my mother. Thank you. I really like the atmosphere at the care home and the way the staff interact with each other and the residents. It's like a loving extended family here. I cannot thank the staff
enough, especially one staff member, for their kindness towards my mother and also towards me. The home is bright, clean, well-maintained with a really pleasant "vibe" feeling. Staff are open, genuine and always approachable for questions and any queries/concerns.

My mum has been in Stormont Lodge since December 2022 and the care and attention she received was outstanding. The staff were always kind and caring even although their job is not always easy. The mix of different nationalities have been an asset to Stormont Lodge. The atmosphere in the home is
always calm & friendly. I always felt part of the family whenever I went. The food and entertainment was always great. Appointing the manager was a great decision. She has great ideas and has made such a difference to the running of the home. Sadly my mum passed away on 02nd May. The staff were so kind and helpful.

Staff most helpful, caring and kind. Approachable, ready to answer queries.
Many activities for the residents that they seem to enjoy. Also very kind to residents and families when visiting.

Mum been in two and a half weeks and so far the family are very happy with the home and staff.
All very friendly and helpful.
Mum is obviously in settling in period and hopefully will soon adjust to new home.

All staff involved in caring for my father in law have treated him very well with dignity and respect and go out of their way to ensure he is comfortable and well cared for.

Mum has been so much better since she moved here.
She is much more alert, she is eating well, and has much more attention.
She is always telling me how happy she is here. She knows she is in the right place.
It is always a pleasure to visit.
The staff are always welcoming and helpful.

My mum moved here in March 2024 and was very poorly when she arrived. She has now gained weight and has her old spark back again. Here at Stormont they not only deal with her physical needs but also her mental health. She is now 97 and says she is looking forward to reaching 100. Our thanks go to
all the staff.

Overall, a really high standard of individualised care and I feel very fortunate that we chose Stormont Lodge for my mum to live. Staff warm and welcoming when we visit. Share information that's relevant and always open to change or to improve things. Always a positive approach to the challenges
that everyday care brings which is really reassuring. Really believe the team are so hardworking and do this with kindness and understanding. Definitely strong leadership too - management team are so helpful.

Majority of staff are wonderful and so kind and thoughtful. The only downside is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of activities. I get monthly updates emailed to me, plus six-monthly assessments, which are helpful for assessing the person.

I arrived today at 12.30 to visit Mum - had not realised that this was lunchtime. However, this gave me the opportunity to see lunch being served. There were two courses, soup and a choice of Sunday Roast or sandwiches. Mum took soup and the Roast Beef, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The catering and
care are of a very high standard, and I am very grateful for the way Mum is looked after.
