I was very impressed with Fairlawn when looking for a permanent care home for my husband. There was a room available, and he was quickly admitted. The process was handled very well and I am delighted with his care so far. He has only been there nine days, but the admin team and the carers are all
lovely. Nothing is too much trouble. My husband is a wanderer, but the home is very secure and there are staff on duty at night, so I know he is safe and cared for 24/7. Fairlawn is immaculately clean, there are plenty of activities and the food is plentiful and excellent. I would definitely recommend Fairlawn.

I am so grateful for the level of care Fairlawns have provided for Mum. Her room feels cosy & homely. The staff are helpful, available & friendly.
It's been good to see Mum eating lovely food & well presented.

Both of my parents moved into Fairlawn a couple of months ago. One parent on the top floor Dementia wing and one on the bottom floor non dementia.
This was the first time they had been in separate rooms. The care home staff were great in making sure they met for breakfast each morning and spent as
much time together as they wanted.
Unfortunately one parent became very unwell and then Palliative and the care was fantastic.
My family and I visited daily and nothing was too much for them. They even fed me at dinner time.
Thank you so much to all the staff.
Also the activities on offer are amazing. Such a variety and even tailor made to individuals.

A wonderful home offering love, care and compassion not just to the residents but also their families at what is an emotional time. The management team is exceptional.

On balance, this care home is the best I've seen (out of many). One thing that Mum is always wearing her own clothes, which sounds silly, but is not the case in some homes. Most ot the staff are very good and kind, they are very good at informing me of any illness/accidents, ie falls. I'm a very
regular visitor, so have seen the continuity of care over 2 years.

My husband has been in Fairlawn since the middle of July 2025, and so far, I am most impressed by the admin staff, carers and domestic staff. Management, gardeners and chef. We celebrated our 67th Wedding Anniversary on the 9th August 2025, and the staff gave us a wonderful celebration day lunch.
Personally, all staff celebrated with us, plus the chef served our lunch himself, full marks all round.

I did not want my client to have to go into residential care, but when the time came and I approached Fairlawn, the experience was a very positive one. From first contact to several weeks into residential care, the whole experience has been smooth, calm, easy and very reassuring. My client is happy
at Fairlawn and thriving. His needs are being met very well, and he obviously feels safe and happy, as well as comfortable and well cared for. I would highly recommend Fairlawn.

We found the care home and their superb staff to be very caring, compassionate and always polite. Although my mum was only in the home for a short period time, the staff made every effort to make her stay a pleasant one.

It was my stepfathers 100th birthday and the effort put in by all the staff we saw at the home was above and beyond our expectations. The amount of food and quality of the food was the biggest shock!!! The birthday cake the chef had done was actually the best I had tasted....you could tell a lot of
effort and care had gone into it. Anything we wanted the staff were only too happy to assist. A very memorable 100th and we are very grateful to all at Fairlawn.

We visited a relative at the home on Monday, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They arranged to move our relative from her room to the lounge so that we could all be together as the room felt crowded with 3. The staff member who moved her did so with care, talking to her all the
time. The lounge was clean and tidy and the chairs very comfortable. Each time I have visited, I have found my relative to be well cared for, and she seems very happy there.

My mother has only been at Fairlawn for two months and struggled to get used to new people and things. However, I find that she is becoming much more relaxed and happy in her new surroundings. As a family we are very happy with her care, cleanliness and safety are second to none, only hope that she
continues to enjoy her new home.

My aunt has been in Fairlawn with dementia for over 2 years and we have been very impressed with the care given in every aspect. Good communication with family, regular updates and social events. Excellent catering. We are so reassured that my aunt is safe, comfortable and cared for. Would highly

Have been so happy with the choice of care home we made for my mum. She has been a resident since March 2024 and really loves it here and feels well cared for. The staff are all absolutely fantastic and do a great job, from the management, the carers, the housekeepers and even the maintenance man!
The rooms are lovely and clean and the food is (mostly) very good. I would be happy to recommend Fairlawn to anybody needing care.

Most of the staff are very friendly and caring. The food is mostly good. Activities have have improved over the last 2 or 3 months. The lounges, coffee areas, bedrooms and toilets are exceptionally clean.

We approach the end of 2024 and the time to reflect on the past year approaches. I remain in awe at the care, love and simple humanity displayed by all at Fairlawn. Sadly it goes unnoticed by those who simply pass by on their busy day, popping into the nearby supermarket or caught up otherwise in
their busy lives. I am sure that were there a Richter scale system of measuring care and devotion Fairlawn care levels would be off the scale. Thank just does not seem enough.

I am so grateful to the manager and her team for the care they have shown to my stepmum. She was reluctant to come into a care home, but the care she has received has been outstanding. I love the activities that they plan and the way that all the staff (and often their young families) get involved.
The last few months have been a difficult time - full of lots of feelings of guilt that we weren't managing at home. But I know she is where she needs to be, that she is happy and that she is getting excellent care.

I am confident that the staff at Fairlawn always treat mum with as much kindness and respect as I was able to provide for her. The staff are generally cheerful, and have time to listen and respond to our questions as they arise. The activities provided for residents are varied, and I know that
residents are encouraged to join in in whatever way they are able - even if it is just being present and enjoying watching other people do things.

We as a family are so pleased that my mum is in Fairlawn. The facilities are lovely, and so clean. The laundry service is run extremely professionally, this is a big issue for my mum. The head if laundry is a star with my mum. The staff are a joy. So kind and caring. They also try and care for the
family as well as the resident, realising when you've had a difficult visit, and lending support. Maintenance and cleanliness are excellent, carpet cleaned regularly, always cleaners around.
Food looks very good, and what I've tasted was wonderful. Finally their entertainment and open days. The whole team pull together like a family. BBQs in the summer, with raffles and stalls, even an ice cream van. Christmas fayre with Santa, elves and a sleigh. They really do go the extra mile.
