I am sorry it has taken so long to review
My brother in law Mark was a resident with Rivermead since 2019. Sadly he had severe early onset dementia.
I would just like to say that your staff were amazing the way they treated him with respect dignity and kindness
He passed away on 24th November
25. With his daughter by his side. I was lucky to stay with them (and my daughter) for a couple of nights. The staff could not have done anything more for him or us.
I was thinking of which staff to compliment but actually every member of your team were exceptional

My mother recently moved into Rivermead View. It was very stressful but Wayne and the team impressed me right from the start. The staff are incredible, highly trained, caring, professional and very 'smiley'. The atmosphere at Rivermead View was a sight to experience, and to feel. Well done to all
the team for delivering an exceptional standard care, day and night, day after day. Your professionalism and love are in every corner of this care home. a

I'm always made very welcome when I visit. Mum seems well cared for and is always in good spirits when I visit. I find all the staff are friendly and helpful. There's a wheelchair made available when needed for us to go out and it's very easy to walk down into the local town from the home.

The resident despite two medical set backs, he is very happy and comfortable at Rivermead View.

My Stepfather first came to Rivermead View after a fall in September 2024 left him hospitalised and vulnerable. He moved into the care home in November and after 6 weeks of respite care, he decided this was the place he wanted to stay. The staff and management team are excellent. Nothing is too much
trouble. The food and facilities are great. Everything is thought of. Since being here my Stepdad is happy and well. I couldn't ask for more.

Rivermead is a lovely home. It is very clean, there is no smell when you enter. The staff are very friendly and caring. My mother is grateful that the care is so good. She is 92 nearly and has Alzheimer's. She always says that the food is delicious. The residents all seem happy.

My auntie loves it at the home; she is well looked after. Her room is always kept clean, and the staff are always friendly and approachable. The senior staff always keep me well informed of any medical occurrences.

The overall care, facilities and staff were exemplary. I cannot fault the care my Grandma received whilst at Rivermead. They ensured she was kept clean and comfortable, supported throughout her stay by caring and polite staff. I would highly recommend Rivermead View Care Home.

Mum was only a resident at Rivermead View for a few weeks before she sadly passed away. However, the home provided an excellent level of care. It has a lovely, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are so caring and nothing is too much trouble. Mum was treated with dignity and respect throughout
her stay. I know she was very happy there.

As I said before the most important thing for me is how kind all your staff are and it follows that you give them dignity as well as love.

My dad was well looked after for two and a half years before his death in August 2022. He was always clean, and well presented. Dad was very fond of the staff who looked after him, they showed him love and compassion, and he enjoyed their company. I am so grateful to all the staff at Rivermead View
and thankful for the care given to dad.

Dad has settled really well here. He has made lovely bonds with the staff. The staff are always friendly and have always made an effort to sort any concerns straight away. Dad always looks clean and tidy when I visit and has gained weight and looks really well since moving here. The home is tidy and
well organised and has a calm atmosphere.

Always a friendly welcome by staff. My relative who is a resident, is most content in the home and we are more than satisfied with the standard of care. My relative speaks highly and fondly of the staff and is most complimentary regarding the meals which are cooked on site.

My mum tells me that she is very happy at Rivermead she feels cared for and likes the food. From observation on visits, it is clear the core staff are encouraging and genuinely care with respect. I now have a happy chirpy mum.

Preconceptions of care home blown away by the exemplary staff, friendly and caring to a fault, lovely and attentive. Simply amazing.
Activities only rated satisfactory as not yet familiar with them.

Rivermead View is looking after both of my parents who have Alzheimer's. My parents both have different needs and I can't thank the management and staff enough for their care and kindness. They are being well looked after in a happy, safe and caring environment.

All the staff take care and have a large amount of empathy for all the residents.

The care given is unquestionably high. All the staff and caregivers really seem to know the residents and want to provide the best service and maintain residents quality of life regardless of their physical and mental states.
I could not recommend this home high enough and thanks and praise could
never truly show how grateful we are to the care they provide.

The constant care that they have shown not just for show when I visit my mother but every day. I feel the trust I have in them is not misplaced. Thank you.

I was very pleased with the standard of accommodation, the staff, the refurbished rooms were excellent with reassuring safety precautions. The staff were excellent, friendly, approachable and helpful. I have scored a good for facilities as the dining room has not yet been refurbished.
