When I have visited my friend the staff have always been wonderful with their care towards all the residents. The staff treat the residents as if they were one of their own family. I would highly recommend this care home to my family and friends.

Senior Management spent the majority of their time in their offices. Staff ignored residents when they pleaded to go to the toilet. Upstairs (where the majority had dementia) were given no stimulation and just left in front of the tv. We were promised they would be taken down for activities but
disappointingly this never happened! Upstairs the room and chairs smelt of urine and again residents were ignored. Some staff were amazing but the majority preferred sitting at the table downstairs on their phones (not logging patient details as we were told!). My advise is to choose a home based on the best care and not on the surroundings. The most expensive care is definitely not the best!

From the first visit when l was shown round the well maintained and homely atmosphere home ,l have been delighted with the care and support that my friend has received.
At the age of 91 having lived on his own all his life as you can image it was a big change but from the management to carers he
has been looked after with excellent care and respect which has been such a relief to myself

A good variety of entertainment regularly stimulates the residents.

We couldn't ask for a better home for my Great Aunt. The quality of care has been outstanding throughout her time here. The care they provide is truly exceptional and has given our family total peace of mind. The staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure the residents are happy and
well-supported. Highly recommended for their dedication and professionalism.

I came with a friend to visit her mother.
I felt so relaxed when I walked in, everyone was friendly, all doors were open and everyone shouted Hi as we passed.
I saw residents laughing in a large room while they were doing an exercise class.
My friend's mum was having her hair done when arrived,
we walked in and saw she was laughing and joking with the hairdresser.
We sat in the salon and joined in the fun, remembering things my friend's mum wanted to talk about, as she has dementia but you couldn't tell with the casual conversation.
Whilst we were in there the chef came in to ask her preference for lunch, once again more banter and laughter.
When I came in for the first time in a care home, I expected it to smell and people just sitting there doing nothing.
I left feeling uplifted, this is a family having so much fun and enjoying life, I even asked the lady cleaning what products she used as it all smelt so lovely.

My Mum has been resident in NCV since March 2025.
Both Mum and I are very satisfied with the care she receives.
Staff are really nice and attentive and make every effort to see that Mum is happy and that her care needs are met.
I would just like to say that if Mum was in any way unhappy or had
any problems...trust me I would be hearing about it/them. Nothing to report.....

In the 2.5 years mum has been at NCV she has always been treated with respect and kindness. Staff are always on hand to help both her and me if I need to ask anything . What I most like is that there isn't a turn over of staff and a carer can always be found to talk to in the residents lounge/
kitchenette area and office doors are usually open to chat to management . Compared to other care homes we know of, the fees are less whilst the care and friendliness is greater .

From day one of my mum's stay, we have found all the team very helpful and supportive. It is good to know that mum is being given the best care and is reassuring for me and all my family to know.
We find the atmosphere very pleasant and we are always feel like part of the family in our sort time we
have been visiting.

A Care Home is only as good as the Staff they employ and the spoken language / dialect can be a problem.
The staff attend to my wife's needs as requested.
My wife needs total care in the bathroom and her cleanliness is excellent.
Her room / cloths are always well maintained.

Every three months we place Mum into Respite care at Nottingham Care Village. Mum has visited on nine occasions and each visit has been a positive experience.
We were informed upon Mums initial visit that the staff to client ration was well above the minimum requirements stipulated by the governing
bodies. During Mums visit, if required, assistance arrived promptly, friendly and conscientiously.
The accommodation is safe, clean and well maintained and kept at comfortable temperature. The furniture is modern and well appointed.
Good quality food is freshly prepared with a good select and with the kitchen in full view of the dining area.
Staff are polite and go the extra mile to assist, from the initial booking to departure and ensure pleasant stay.
As we self fund the rates are reasonable and on par with other service providers, however we feel the quality is above that of other providers in the area and as a result we believe the rates to be good value.

After needing sudden respite care for my Auntie & Uncle I called Nottingham care village. The staff were very understanding, I was able to visit the same day and sort everything out. I have found everyone to be very helpful and caring. The site is spotlessly clean and all the bedrooms have a large
walk-in wet room. There is entertainment for the residents and everyone is treated like a person. I have been kept up to date with both my Auntie & Uncles health and treatments. Due to continued help needed they have both now become permeant residences. This was a big decision for me to make but I know they are getting well looked after from clean clothes, rooms, healthy meals, entertainment and all their medical and care needs are met.
Thank you to all of the team at Nottingham Care Village for looking after them and answering all of my questions. Ps and the cake - its very nice.

My Grandma has moved into NOTTINGHAM Care VIllage from her own home so was very nervous about going into a care home, she has settled in very well and enjoys the company of the other people living there, enjoys the different activities. The staff at the care home are extremely kind and caring and
have made my Grandma feel at home.

My mother-in-law suddenly experienced a rapid onset of immense pain and loss of mobility, and it was determined she needed a period of complete bed rest to recuperate and allow her back to begin to heal.
After an initial call with the deputy manager at Nottingham Care Village, I was invited to
visit the home and see the short-stay facilities on offer. Nottingham Care Village was able to offer us a room immediately and could provide the kind of profile bed and wet room facilities that we needed to aid recovery.
My mother-in-law was there for 9 weeks in total and found her stay to be very pleasant despite being mostly bed-bound. The staff were extremely welcoming, kind, patient, and attentive. The facilities were modern, extremely clean, and my Mother-in-law was bathed every day and tended to with great care.
The food was varied and enjoyable, with plenty of fresh fruit on offer, and her diet preferences were adhered to. So glad we found this home, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I was impressed by Nottingham Care Village from my very first visit. It is in a lovely location, and Dad's room had a really pleasant view over gardens, green space and chickens! The staff are warm, welcoming and caring- they were flexible to dad's needs, even working with a physio on his visit, and
making arrangements for dad to share in family birthday celebrations. Dad loved the food, especially the homemade cakes every afternoon, and the whole family felt supported by the staff team. The facilities were clean and ideal for Dad. An excellent experience for us; would highly recommend it.

Amazing! Having visited here every day for the last 8 days and with lots of experience of other care homes, these guys should be CQC outstanding and beyond. The love and care that they show towards each resident is heartwarming to watch. They encourage individualism, acceptance of differences and
nurture the concept that this is not their workplace, but home for each and every resident. I can visit at any time of day, totally unannounced and what I see is the same every time. I have met many different members of staff from carers to managers, handyman and chef and each one has compassion and respect. Above all they put the CARE into care home.

As a frequent visitor to my family in 3 separate care homes, I can confidently state that Nottingham Care Village is exceptional in the high quality of care it provides. A clean, warm, welcoming and safe environment for residents with home cooked nutritious meals. I have no hesitation in
recommending it but will leave the last words to my mother-in-law who has been a happy resident for 3 years: "The staff are wonderful and can't do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble."
