It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Can't believe the entertainment that the Staff has organised for Christmas, so much care and attention has gone into making the home look fabulous. My aunt had such a wonderful time today all the staff are very attentive it really is a special place
can't thank all the staff enough for their kindness.

All the staff at Swinton Hill Care Home are polite, respectful and attentive to Mum'd needs. They all have the skills and experience to do their jobs with proficiency. Knowing Mum is being well cared for puts my mind at ease. The care home is kept clean and tidy at all times. The managers and staff
have a great interaction with all the residents and their families.

All of the staff are great, caring, patient, respectful, and they're always helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. There's regular entertainment days and a separate area for daily activities for the residents. The garden's a lovely space to sit in the summertime. The food is very good. Swintonhill
has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere - a home from home.
Families and visitors are made welcome and the separate room for visitors to make tea/coffee is great. Recommended!

The manager discussed a number of issues e.g. mental health, mobility, personal hygiene etc. In a clear and structured passion. I am happy that the review was conducted in a very thorough and thoughtful fashion.

From the moment I enquired about a place for my sister I have received nothing but friendly professional care and support from the management and all the staff. When my sister was interviewed she thought they were lovely people and was reassured about her placement. I visited and spoke to managers
and was shown around the facilities. I was very impressed by everything I saw, a very relaxed atmosphere, friendly attentive staff. A daily menu and activities board available for all to see. The freedom of movement of patients and staff's helpfulness and respect for patients. I am very glad my sister was accepted. She is happy.

My mother is a resident of Swinton Hill Care Home. She has been a resident for over a year and I can honestly state my mother has been well cared for. She is always well dressed and clean. All the staff are fantastic and can't do enough for all the residents if there is any problem regarding my
mother. I am informed immediately. Me and my dog are always made welcome.

At Swinton Hill Care Home. The first day my mum went into the care home, all of the staff put me at ease, telling me my mum would be fine and, guess what? She is. The staff are all excellent. They all go over and above for all the residents. I feel like my mum settled in well due to the care and
support from all the staff.
Under paid, worth more these staff.

When my wife was diagnosed with dementia I was devastated and having to pick a care home was daunting, the first place was Swinton Hill and I knew immediately that it was the best. The staff and management made it an east decision. I can only say that the staff and residents have become like an
extended family. They have entertainment every week and treat everyone with dignity.

Swintonhill is not just a care home - you become part of the Swintonhill family. My dad was a resident for over three years, and the care and love Dad received from the staff was absolutely amazing.
We had quality time with Dad at Swintonhill.
Dad was independent, living his best life, enjoying
family life and his holidays, then Dad was diagnosed with dementia, and as the dementia deteriorated, it broke our heart - we knew for Dad's safety, we had to look at care.
Swintonhill gave us back quality time that we realise now was precious, making more memories that we will cherish forever.
Swintonhill showed us love, compassion and kindness from the day Dad entered until the day Dad sadly made his final journey back home.
Thank you, Swintonhill, from the bottom of my heart, I can not thank you all enough.

My mother is a resident of this care home for over two years. Cannot fault the staff - always friendly and willing to assist and help my mother. The facilities are good. My mum was always looked after, clean, with diffident clothes, and always well dressed. She enjoyed the activities- bingo. Easy
access when it was visitor's time.

I cannot recommend Swinton Hill Care Home highly enough, as the care and dedication shown by the staff towards my mum over the past four and a half years have been truly outstanding. They have gone the extra mile to ensure that my mum's needs have been catered for.

Have been visiting for a few years now. Never had any issues with my friend's care and treatment. The accommodation is comfortable and clean. Staff work hard using patience.

When it became clear that my mother required full-time care, we had no hesitation in choosing Swinton Hill Care Home, as she had previously spent a respite weeks there. Throughout the four years of her stay, the care that she has received from the staff has been excellent. As my mother is 98 and
has several health issues, we are grateful to the manager and her dedicated staff for the way she is looked after. I would recommend Swinton Hill to anyone who requires residential care.

My mother-in-law, who is 98 years of age, has been a resident at Swinton Hill Care Home for four and a half years. She is very settled,
Throughout all this time, she has received excellent care from the attentive and compassionate staff, who know all the residents very well and see to their
individual needs, which are varied.
On arrival for visits, we are greeted with a warm welcome, and the atmosphere is always happy and friendly.
The manager and all staff members are very approachable, listening carefully to any concerns, which are always dealt with promptly.
My husband and I are extremely grateful to everyone at the home.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Swinton Hill to family and friends alike.

When it became evident that my mum needed full-time care, I did a lot of research and visited many care homes. As soon as I spoke to the manager of Swinton Hill, I knew that the kind and caring welcome I received was exactly the place my mum needed to be. The staff are so kind and really take the
time to get to know all of the residents and what their needs are. There is always a happy and positive atmosphere when I visit and know that my mum is being very well looked after.

I would highly recommend Swinton Hill Care Home as they could not do enough for myself and my family. My mum was there for two years and three months, and the end-of-life care she was shown was amazing. They treated my mum with such compassion and dignity. My mum enjoyed her early days, and the
staff were great with her.
