We would like to say thank you for looking after our mum so well. We shared a beautiful meal with mum today to celebrate her birthday, Herminia did a wonderful job of looking after the three of us. The curry was very tasty.

My sister and I had lunch today at the home to celebrate our mums 95th birthday. We had the most delicious meal, especially the chicken curry - compliments to the chef, and we would like to say a particular thank you to Herminia who was so attentive to our needs and was so kind to mum. The table was
laid so beautifully and nothing was too much trouble

I had a two week respite stay at White Lodge while my daughter was on holiday. The premisses are of a very good standard and set in a lovely surroundings. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble, the facility's were we well above what i was expecting and this was my first experience
a care home. My only small criticisms would be the choices of food at meal times, it was always of a good quality but limited choice.
This was an enjoyable stay and would strongly recommend White Lodge having now looked at other Care Homes in the locality White Lodge was definitely the one for me.

My father has been a resident here for nearly 4 years. The staff are amazing. They respect every resident and really go out of their way to find ways to make people feel comfortable and at home. Eg: My father is obsessed with South Africa and so they organised a whole South African day for him,
with flags, South African food, a drumming band, he was thrilled! He is not the easiest of people, and will often stay in his room alone if he was left to do that. But the staff at White Lodge always push the residents to keep active, eat well and get involved in activities which in turn helps each resident to settle in and feel part of the family. We are all so grateful to the wonderful staff at White Lodge. You are all LEGENDS! Thank you.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team at White Lodge Care Home - Barchester Healthcare. The care you provided for Mum has been second to none. Even with the challenges of dementia, you helped her enjoy life and supported her in being the very best version of herself. Your genuine compassion
and commitment to treating each resident as an individual made all the difference.
One moment we will never forget is the beautiful ballet performance you put on for Mum - a memory that will stay with us forever. It was a perfect reflection of the love and thoughtfulness that runs through everything you do.
Your care in Mum's final days was truly outstanding. You understood, in every sense, what end-of-life care should be - gentle, respectful, and filled with dignity and kindness. We will always be grateful for the way you looked after her, and us, with such warmth.

My mother has now been in residence for 4 and a half months. She has settled in really quickly and slipped into daily routine. The staff are always friendly and happy, nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent.. 5 stars. Many thanks to all catering staff who are working in the background.
The activities are wonderful, keeping the residents stimulated.

Any apprehesion about bringing my father from his beloved own home to While Lodge was instantly dispelled. He loves it here: The residents are sociable, one activities wonderful + the staff are obviously a team, working + supporting each other & support the residents.
Visitors are made welcome + it
is a delight + a relief to know we found a place father loves + deserves to live in.

I have enjoyed my brief stay 100%! The house is full of laughing, smiling, friendly people and the staff of nurses and helpers are so friendly and helpful, always charming and smiling. Laughter is never far away. As a consequence of all of this, the residents smile and greet each other and are
equally friendly.
I like it here very much and hope to return one day as a full-time resident.

This is my first visit here and I have been impressed and would be happy to return. Staff are very attentive and food is most enjoyable. Altogether, a happy experience.

During my mum's week of respite, I was impressed by the kindness, friendliness and competency of all the staff I came in contact with. Mum's wishes were always at the centre of whatever she was involved with. Activities were arranged on a daily basis and staff were encouraging and supportive of
residents to engage, socialise and have fun. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff, whatever their role.
The food was excellent and choices were always available.
Mum thoroughly enjoyed her time there and is looking forward to returning in the future.

On attending the fete day, we all had a good afternoon. Residents were brought out to enjoy the sunshine and entertainment.
Staff were attentive and observant to residents' needs.

We spent a really lovely afternoon at the 1950's fete. The staff made so much effort by dressing up and involving all the residents.
Great singers, dancers and a lovely atmosphere.

Have arranged a short stay for my mother. She lives alone and needed company and a break from looking after herself. The home, staff, residents and all facilities far exceeded our expectations.
Would gladly arrange for my parent to stay again.

I liked the experience when I came to stay as a respite resident at Barchester White Lodge Care Home. The other residents are very friendly and staff are very helpful. Would recommend White Lodge to others.

We have really enjoyed the garden party this afternoon. It was lovely to listen to the music of a local brass band in the sunshine with my mum. It is such a beautiful setting. The staff were all very helpful and attentive and could not do enough to help Mum. The tea and cakes were lovely. Thank you

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy. Good is always good.
Guttering needs a clear out and some of the pots.
Also, be nice to have access to a guest/visitor wi-fi connection.

Great cake, sausage rolls, tasty. Nice afternoon.
