My mum has lived at GL for over 18 months. During this time her care needs have changed dramatically, both physically and mentally. I can honestly say that throughout this time her continued care and support have been excellent. Everyone treats Mum with so much kindness, respect and love that I
feel there is no better place. She experiences the best quality of life that is possible in the circumstances and I am truly grateful to everyone on the staff team for working so hard to make this happen. Nothing is left to chance, cleanliness, record keeping, training and management are all maintained to the highest of standards and Groby Lodge feels like a home should, welcoming, warm, loving and safe. I recommend Groby Lodge to you, without reservation, if you are in a situation of needing care for a loved one. A huge thank you to everyone on the team and know that I am extremely grateful for everything you do.

My aunt has been at Groby Lodge for the best part of 3 years now, although her condition has worsened during this time the care shown from day one has not wavered, compassion, care and kindness is shown by every member of staff not just to my aunt but every resident during some difficult times.
Management is superb and has kept me informed of every single problem that has arisen no matter how small.. They answer any questions asked , procedures, care plans etc clearly. I have no problem in recommending Groby Lodge for care. Carry on the good work.

In my honest opinion this is the best care home ever. My mum has been here for 4 years now and the care staff and managers are amazing with her. They make you feel welcome when I go in to visit her and always let us know how she has been. The staff and management always let us know if she needs to
go in hospital or if she's had a fall or is feeling unwell. It is the best care home for my mum.

Staff extremelt extremely efficient, caring, knowledgeable. Feels like home, warm, friendly, safe, totally enjoyable to be here. Activities for me are not suitable for my condition.

After spending 2 months in hospital, my wife was transferred to Groby Lodge for 4 weeks rehabilitation. The progress she made was remarkable, due mostly to the care given by all members of the staff.

My mother in law has just got back from having rest bite care at the home and cannot praise it enough! All the staff are so caring, friendly and catered for every need! Nothing was too much trouble and peace of mind knowing mum was safe. Mum can't wait for her next rest bite!

I cannot praise the staff at Groby Lodge highly enough for the care they are providing to my mother-in-law. It's clear that she feels happy and secure. The whole staff team are kind, friendly and hardworking! I feel complete assurance that my mother-in-law is receiving the very best of care which
has given the whole family complete peace of mind. The home is clean, bright and comfortable. The food is excellent and the activities are fun and pitched at just the right level to engage the residents, although there is no pressure to join in if someone does not wish to participate. A big thank you to the staff and management for doing such a fantastic job at Groby Lodge. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone who is looking to place a family member in a care setting.
I am so impressed with everything about Groby Lodge care home and I feel incredibly happy knowing that my father-inlLaw lives there now. Groby Lodge is extremely clean and comfortable. Every member of staff and management are friendly, kind and very helpful, and you can tell that they are all very caring and professional people. I am made to feel very welcome and the whole atmosphere and experience are incredibly positive. Groby Lodge is an excellent care home. Every one of the staff are warm and caring, nothing seems like too much trouble. The home is clean and there is evidence of money being spent to improve the home. The food is home cooked, no pre-packed meals here. The residents are encouraged to play
activities, almost daily which is great for morale and exercise.
I am pleased our care home is Groby Lodge, and I would not change it. My thanks go to them for providing a safe, warm, fun place to live.

My Mother-in-Law has been in Groby Lodge for nearly a year. Our positive first impressions of the care and management were well grounded. So, when my Father-in-law also needed more care, initially for respite, we were keen for him to be admitted so he could be with his wife.
The care is excellent
and all staff are so attentive and make it a happy home. There are appropriate activities offered everyday. I really appreciate the advice offered to us by the team, when we ask for tips and support in how best to respond to changes in my in-laws conditions.
Visitors are always made to feel welcome, and support is offered to the whole family. Groby Lodge deserves it's high rating

My wife has been a resident of Groby Lodge Care Home for nearly four years.
I can't speak highly enough of the care she has received. From the manager to the cleaner this is an excellent care team applying the highest quality of care 24 hours a day!
I could recommend this care home to everyone,
it's just magic.

My aunt has been a resident at this care home for many months, during this time her care and well-being needs have all been met to a consistently high standard. Her care needs are complex, she requires hoisting and one-to-one feeding, for example, which are all carried out safely and always with
kindness and compassion. The staff all communicate well with me, providing me with medical updates and of any concerns they may have. My aunt is very content in her surroundings and all her physical and emotional needs are met. I have always been very welcomed when I visit by the staff and management.

My mum attended Groby Lodge after recently having a stroke and even though she was only there for a short while before she passed away the staff and care they gave our home was amazing.
Staff also were very supportive to us from the minute arrived until the end.
Can't thank them enough.

The home is very clean and friendly, it's home from home. My mum has settled in well and loves it. Staff are very good with the residents and family. I would definitely recommend it.

I visit my relative once or more a week. All staff inviting and pleasant, very welcoming, never rushed all residents seem very happy.
There is always a very homely feel. The staff are accommodating with visitors and residents known by names.
Food and drinks always available. My relatives room
and communal areas are warm and spotless. All round faultless.

My father went into Groby Lodge after spending 2 months in hospital. He was on end-of-life care. The staff were brilliant. So caring and attended to his needs with compassion. We were confident that he was safe in their care. They kept us informed and he was treated with dignity.

My dad spent the last 4 weeks of his life at Groby Lodge. He was safe, comfortable, clean and cared for with such kindness and dignity. The staff were so lovely and treated me, my sisters and my mum so nicely. We couldn't have wished for any better. My dad was happy there. Thank you Groby Lodge.

My father passed away on 18th August 2023 under the care of the manager and her team at Groby Lodge. He was given the best care possible throughout his stay. Not only was kindness and empathy given to my father, but it was extended to me and my family upon each visit. The home has undergone a
refurbishment programme and, during this time, the cleanliness and tidiness has been maintained to a high standard. The home is always warm and welcoming and there has always been a nice smell of cooking and baking, Sunday roast being a favourite. Groby Lodge is a real home from home and me and my family regard it as excellent!

My dad was cared for at this lovely care home. He was looked upon as a family member, all carers looked after him so well it was lovely to see this. We got to know all the staff and residents over the period of 10 months. The management was very approachable and caring, they are doing a great job of
refurbishing and modernising the home which is great to see. Thank you for all you did for our dad, we will be forever grateful! Thank you.
