From the moment we visited Tewkesbury Fields, we knew it was the perfect place for our mum. The home is beautiful, always clean and welcoming. The staff go above and beyond, their compassion and kindness is evident. The range of activities and local outings is impressive and has played a key part in Mum's transition. We have peace of mind knowing that Mum is in caring & capable hands.

I can highly recommend Tewkesbury Fields Care home as all the staff in all departments are so friendly and wonderfully caring, the environment is beautiful and kept spotlessly clean, the activities varied and interesting. From my initial contact with the home to my mother moving in from outside of the area was made so easy and my appreciation goes to Katrina for ensuring a challenging situation went very smoothly. My mother has benefitted significantly from being in such a lovely caring environment and has settled in very well and made new friends. The care she receives is excellent, she is eating well, has enjoyed the regular activities and outings. Having great carers and company particularly has made her so much happier. I am always met with a smile and a warm welcome from the reception team and kept well informed and included in all updates. The difference in my mother has been amazing and provided me with so much peace of mind knowing that she is safe and secure.

We first visited Tewkesbury Fields o an open day before we actually needed to find a care home for Mum. Following hospitilisation after a fall, we opted for respite care on her release. This is now residential and for the most part and following a room change, Mum has been settled into this new environment and experience.

Barchester Care Homes should be proud of what is achieved at Tewkesbury Fields. Setting - excellent, presentation -attractive, fresh and welcoming, but their gems are the members of staff at every level who go the extra mile, night and day, with quick response, and care when needed. Wonderful laundry service! The rooms, though well presented, are in practice challenging - particularly service of power points, arrangement of bathroom and over-complicated TV controls! A small negative amongst all the positives. Thank you. X

The staff are friendly and genuinely caring and everyone I have come into contact with are enthusiastic and always very helpful. The facilities are well presented clean and tidy and give a warm feeling of home to the residents. There are always plenty of activities planned that cater for all with a very relaxed atmosphere. This is a safe compassionate environment that makes me feel at ease that residents are being extremely well cared for.

We are very happy to leave my mother-in-law in such a lovely location - it's so clean and beautifully presented - is more of a hotel than a care home. We will defitely be using for future respite stays and would definitely consider if permanent care was needed. All staff are so lovely and caring and very welcoming.

This place is incredibly well organised. It is clean, attractively decorated; everything works very well and is done with style. Most importantly, all the staff are very professional, charming, good humoured, respectful and have the knack of remembering everyone's names from day 1! The only slight negative was the food which was occasionally below par.

Barchester Tewkesbury Fields Care Home is a very pleasant place with high standards of decoration and good facilities. The staff were all very welcoming and extremely friendly and were flexible with my mother's requirements.

My aunt has been a resident at Barchester Tewkesbury Fields Care Home since the beginning of July and has settled in well. I have been very impressed with the high level of care given to her along with the fantastic staff and facilities available. There are lots of activities to keep her busy and lovely trips out. I would highly recommend Tewkesbury Fields.

Generally, good experience. Food could be a bit better. All of the carers were good but three members of staff, in particular, were exceptional.

Mom has been looked after fantastically whilst being at Barchester Tewkesbury Fields Care Home. The socialisation has been brilliant and it is great to hear that she has been out for walks and taken part in activities. I will definitely use the home again for future respite.

I only stayed for one week respite care and found the experience very enjoyable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. They did not keep disturbing me in the night but I am sure they kept a discrete eye on me to check I was still alive! The food was excellent but I cannot walk without a frame so I stayed in my room, although they did offer to help me to the dining room every mealtime. There was no shortage of activities to meet every taste. I have a chiropodist and physiotherapist, both of whom were allowed to visit me and treat me as required. There seem to be plenty of meeting places to meet and greet visitors so I did venture out occasionally. It is worth noting that all walkways had a banister so getting around was not too difficult for most people. It would have been more convenient if my room had been a little larger but I look forward to my next visit.

Our whole experience at Barchester Tewkesbury Fields Care Home has been wonderful. Staff are super friendly and really helpful. Being able to use the cafe facilities at any time is wonderful, as is being able to stay for a meal occasionally. My friend loves it here and we are all pleased with his progress. It is sometimes hard to realise that this is a care home and not a very welcoming hotel. Thank you all so much.

I couldn't wish for my mum to be in a better place. The care and kindness she receives is excellent. There is so much going on, from music, quizzes, crafts, trips out, and my mum recently celebrated her birthday and was treated to a cake, balloons and entertainment. The staff are very attentive and friendly and very professional at all times. They are always happy to talk over any worries and deal with any requests. Thank you to everyone at Barchester Tewkesbury Fields Care Home.

My aunt has recently moved into the home but initially was very resistant to moving to any care home at all. I am delighted with how well she has settled in such a short space of time and can only put this down to the welcoming and caring approach of the staff in the home. It's such an enormous relief for me to know she is safe and well looked after.
