View Full Details of Aldringham CourtVery welcoming by staff, nothing is to much trouble. Always willing to listen and very compassionate towards patient and family. Rooms are very large and comfortable. Always offered a drink on arrival.
Travelled from Ireland to visit my brother for the second time, I am pleased that he has adapted to his new surroundings very well. All staff are very professional and caring in the way they handle each resident during the course of their shift. We were made to feel very welcome each time we arrived. This is an excellent facility.
My husband died in April didn't even ring & tell me although they had but I wasn't there but never even left a message too ring them, my step daughter turned up at 10.45 to see her dad still never said anything too her she went too his room only too find him past, she was traumatised poor girl then she rang and told me my husband had died so from 9am till she rang me I never heard anything. I am so upset we were treated this way, disgusted!!! I wrote them a letter, but got no reply.
The staff are caring and willing to take on board suggestions for his care eg loss of both hearing aids, which I have purchased new ones. The nurses will incorporate a check for the aids in their hourly inspection, all nurses will be advised of this when the new aids arrive. They have organised his room. The staff always make me very welcome. I appreciate the social media posts - it is comforting to see him taking part in activities.
My mum was at Aldringham Court for around 3 months in all. When she first arrived, she could be quite challenging and the staff were nothing but brilliant with her. After a lengthy hospital stay, mum was welcomed back to Aldringham with such warmth, as was I and all her family. They nursed mum until she passed away, and the care, compassion, empathy and kindness shown to us all was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, whether it was mum wanting ice cream for breakfast, the constant cups of tea, and most importantly, the support and hugs we as family got when times were hard. The food served to residents is first class, and particularly when mum wasn't eating much it was never to much trouble to provide her with something else. Mum was treated with respect and dignity throughout her stay. I never expected a nursing home to feel like home, but at Aldringham Court it really does. I will be forever grateful.
Mum was a very difficult person to look after as she was very agitated. The staff were all so patient and kind. We couldn't fault the care she received. They not only looked after her but always asked if we were ok as well.
My husband was cared for in a wonderful way. Someone was with him constantly. The food was good and varied so much! The bed was always clean and tidy. The room was really good too. The staff were kind and helpful. So good, nursing. Thank you.
It's a massive change for everyone when a relative goes into a care home so it's important that the choice of home is right for the resident and their family. My mum settled in straight away mainly because of the family vibe in Aldringham Court and the wonderful caring staff.
Very satisfied with the care Mum receives from everyone at Aldringham Court.
I have no complaints with how Mum is cared for.
The care that my late dad received was excellent. The care and attention they gave my dad, myself and his sister were way beyond excellent and caring. They gave my dad care to pass away with dignity. Thank you to everyone who cared for my late dad.
My mum was admitted for end of life care and couldn't wish for more caring cheerful helpful staff. Our initial viewing of Aldringham Court made us feel welcome and listened to.
I couldn't fault the care and attention my mum received during her end-of-life palliative care. The manager and staff were always popping in to check on her and to make sure that any visitors had refreshments. A very friendly home with caring staff. I cannot comment on value for money as she was NHS-funded.
The staff are very friendly. My family member was cared for and had everything she needed. Had a lovely view from French doors, we were able to personalise the patio so that my family member had her own things to look at. The staff were very helpful with providing meals that she needed. My mum loved her porridge. They were always happy to make it for her when she fancied it.
My mum was only in Aldringham Court for three days receiving palliative care but as a family, we could not have been more pleased with the care and attention Mum received. The staff were all so kind and sympathetic.
A lovely place and all the staff are wonderful, can't do enough for you. Always makes you a drink, just lovely.
After our mum had been in hospital for six months February-August 24, we needed a nice home for her as Muum has many needs. We were offered Aldringham Court but thought it would be too far away, but we went to look at it, and on arrival, as soon as we saw the grounds and the inside, we were amazed. The room was lovely and all the staff were friendly. Mum has been in for two weeks nearly and has settled in. All staff and management are really nice and caring and definitely made Mum at home. Every visit Mum has been better and we are very thankful.
My reasoning for completing this review is based on my experience yesterday visiting a friend in your care home. I was very impressed with all the staff. They were smiling and kind and want to thank them all for being there and caring with utmost patience. Thank you so much.
My overall experience, so far, at the home has been very good. The staff are very caring and helpful and soon sort out any concerns.
My mother was treated with care and dignity during her stay. I found all the staff to be friendly, caring and compassionate.
