Aldringham Court provides excellent care in a lovely setting near Aldeburgh, known for its connection to Benjamin Britten and the well-known Aldeburgh Music Festival. Only two miles from the Suffolk Heritage Coast, residents can enjoy regular trips to the seaside.

I am extremely happy with the care my father is receiving at Aldringham Court. After a few very unsettling years, my father has found peace in its beautiful surroundings. The staff could not be more caring towards my father and are always very welcoming when I visit. Dad is included in a wide range
of activities that take place at home, and I love seeing the photos posted on their social media page of what they get up to. The nursing staff are very professional and are always willing to discuss Dad's health and well-being. Dad enjoys the 'home cooked meals' and I am very grateful for the time and effort spent on his birthday. The special birthday cake and gifts made his day. It is a lovely place for my father's last years. Thank you.

Met at reception with a smile. Was pleasantly surprised to meet my family member looking so well. The care he has been given has enhanced the quality of his life greatly. He no longer needs assistance to walk - his diet has improved and so too has his strength. He is engaging with the other residents
and partaking in activities, painting being his favourite. It is such a relief to know he is happy the worry we had is gone.

Travelled from Ireland to visit my brother for the second time, I am pleased that he has adapted to his new surroundings very well. All staff are very professional and caring in the way they handle each resident during the course of their shift. We were made to feel very welcome each time we arrived.

My husband died in April didn't even ring & tell me although they had but I wasn't there but never even left a message too ring them, my step daughter turned up at 10.45 to see her dad still never said anything too her she went too his room only too find him past, she was traumatised poor girl then
she rang and told me my husband had died so from 9am till she rang me I never heard anything. I am so upset we were treated this way, disgusted!!! I wrote them a letter, but got no reply.

The staff are caring and willing to take on board suggestions for his care eg loss of both hearing aids, which I have purchased new ones. The nurses will incorporate a check for the aids in their hourly inspection, all nurses will be advised of this when the new aids arrive. They have organised his
room. The staff always make me very welcome. I appreciate the social media posts - it is comforting to see him taking part in activities.

My mum was at Aldringham Court for around 3 months in all. When she first arrived, she could be quite challenging and the staff were nothing but brilliant with her. After a lengthy hospital stay, mum was welcomed back to Aldringham with such warmth, as was I and all her family. They nursed mum until
she passed away, and the care, compassion, empathy and kindness shown to us all was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, whether it was mum wanting ice cream for breakfast, the constant cups of tea, and most importantly, the support and hugs we as family got when times were hard. The food served to residents is first class, and particularly when mum wasn't eating much it was never to much trouble to provide her with something else. Mum was treated with respect and dignity throughout her stay. I never expected a nursing home to feel like home, but at Aldringham Court it really does. I will be forever grateful.

Mum was a very difficult person to look after as she was very agitated. The staff were all so patient and kind. We couldn't fault the care she received. They not only looked after her but always asked if we were ok as well.

My husband was cared for in a wonderful way. Someone was with him constantly. The food was good and varied so much! The bed was always clean and tidy. The room was really good too. The staff were kind and helpful. So good, nursing. Thank you.

I couldn't fault the care and attention my mum received during her end-of-life palliative care. The manager and staff were always popping in to check on her and to make sure that any visitors had refreshments. A very friendly home with caring staff. I cannot comment on value for money as she was NHS-funded.

The staff are very friendly. My family member was cared for and had everything she needed. Had a lovely view from French doors, we were able to personalise the patio so that my family member had her own things to look at. The staff were very helpful with providing meals that she needed. My mum loved
her porridge. They were always happy to make it for her when she fancied it.

Elaine really enjoys working with the elderly, she finds it so rewarding and loves her role.
Prior to working at Healthcare Homes, Elaine was an Activities/Health Care Assistant.

The favourite part of her working day is going to the resident’s rooms for one-to-one talks and also enjoys organising entertainment and watching and taking part.
