Mum moved into Aldringham in May and every month has become more at home, this is 100% down to the care team here, such a friendly caring team. With so many activities here too. Mum has flourished and made new friends and she has got her sparkle back.
Thank you so much for your feedback, it has been wonderful to see your Mum improve weekly. It makes me very proud to hear such great things about the team!
Mum became a resident earlier this year, she has been welcomed and made to feel part of the home. She is so much happier and well looked after. I have always found the staff ready to assist Mum and treat her with respect and dignity.
Thank you!
Very caring to my father who was ill and myself and my mother.
Always kept clean and comfortable and nursed with kindness and respect.
A happy atmosphere throughout.
They are all very hospitable toward us! I would recommend Aldringham Court to all my friends! The laundry lady is very efficient, all very clean, the food is very good, my husband eats it all up, mostly! Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to send in a review, it is so lovely to receive positive feedback. I will make sure all the staff are made aware!
Friendly, helpful, caring, always willing to talk to you.
Lovely carers.
She was still very weak and it was questionable whether she would survive the journey.
Now 2 years down the line, thanks to the care and dedication of the staff, Mum is in a much better way. Although bedridden, she receives regular checks to assist her fluid and solid intake to ensure she never becomes dehydrated again.
Mum is a very special person and enjoys a friendly relationship with all the staff.
Always ready to talk to family, the staff keep us well informed of Mum's condition, knowing that Mum is receiving the best possible care is a great comfort to the family.
Aldringham Court laid on a driver to transport my mother and mother in law to this event, so helpful. Thank you so much for your help in so many ways. On return from birthday out, my mother returned to a momentous afternoon at Aldringham Court, with entertainments, decoration '100' banners and ballroom and a birthday cake.
So many cards, presents and good wishes from residents and staff. A memorable day!
My mother loves living at Aldringham Court and the level of care and support from all staff.
She flourishes with people to talk to and activities, care and humour. She has never been happier to have so many positive inputs. It is a joy to visit. Thank you.
She also enjoys the food! Home from home!
Nothing is too much effort.
It took a few months to establish routines, ie. showering, linen changing. Now OK.
Staff are very caring and kind. The food is good.
Activities are varied and fun.
A very good nursing service. Always warm and staff welcoming and friendly to us and Mum.
Thank you for feedback which is invaluable and helps us to further improve the home. It is really important to us that residents and their families have a positive move into the home. We do try to give as much information as possible prior to their move into the home, however following your...
Communication between residents and kitchen management is set to improve on a friendly basis with the Residents' Management Committee.
Always very good staff are excellent.
Staff are friendly. I am happy here.
I like being here and I like my room and everything is very well organised. I have good chats with staff and the food is 'home from home'.
Filling in the ratings, I am happy to say 'excellent' because I am very happy here.
There is a lot of care provided for all. Security is great, I feel so safe when visiting people. Thanks for all the hard work everyone is doing. Keep it all up, so we can keep the home working for everyone.
My brother has been at Aldringham Court for two and a half years. He suffered from Alzheimer's and has been unable to speak for over five years. He also has Parkinson's disease. All the nurses and carers are extremely caring in every way. They do a wonderful job and are really supportive to me. The manager's office staff are also really helpful and all give their time.
The staff, whether nursing, carers or support workers, are very kind and thoughtful. They recognise the residents are individuals and are alert to their specific needs. They go the 'extra mile'.
I was very impressed by the care that my father received at Aldringham Court. The staff were unfailingly kind, compassionate and humane. Despite having had a stroke and suffering from dementia it was not just his medical needs and personal care which were well looked after. The staff all took the time to talk to him and reach out to him as a person. My father enjoyed the food and the afternoon entertainment, which were sometimes very adventurous and featured snakes! Families and visitors were always welcomed and many of us were regulars and local which added to the family atmosphere.
Everyone kind and friendly, helpful in every way. Always drink whenever wanted, food anytime, I would like more fresh vegetables but otherwise good variety of meals and fruit when wanted. My room is very cosy and homely, would not want any other. Instead of sandwiches at supper, it would be nice to have beans or cheese on toast for a change.
As a family, we are very satisfied with the care my father is receiving. We are always made welcome and nothing is too much trouble for the staff in general. The food is of a high standard and I feel that he is in very safe hands at Aldringham Court.
Up to 24th October 2017, I could not wish for the wonderful care that my wife was given. I will never forget what wonderful care the home gave to my wife and me, may you please give a big thanks to all the staff from me and my family my wife would have wished this.

Meet the Team (5)

I enjoy getting to know our residents and their families, ensuring everyone feels safe, supported and valued while leading a dedicated team committed to providing outstanding care. I have worked in care since 1999, gaining experience across nursing, residential and dementia care.

Prior to working at Healthcare Homes, Elaine was an Activities/Health Care Assistant.
Elaine believes you need to be kind, compassionate and understanding, to have a good understanding of dementia and the needs of the very ill and frail and to have an understanding of equality and diversity.
The favourite part of her working day is going to the resident’s rooms for one-to-one talks and also enjoys organising entertainment and watching and taking part.
Elaine's biggest professional challenge was changing from her carer role to activities and her biggest career highlight is getting the home ready for Christmas and organising events for the residents.
The qualities that make Elaine stand out are to be kind, compassionate and understanding. Be a good listener and a good role model for the team
Outside of work Elaine enjoys walking, gardening, crafting, sewing, crochet, knitting, swimming and spending time with family.
Her most enjoyable part of working at Aldringham Court is making a difference to an individual’s day; just a little smile or reassurance.

I take pride in keeping our home safe, welcoming and looking its very best for residents, families and visitors. With 25 years' engineering experience, including 20 years in care homes and hospitals, I love working alongside our fantastic team and helping to create a comfortable environment for everyone.

I love getting to know our residents and creating fun, meaningful activities for everyone to enjoy. With over 10 years' experience in care and a background in event planning, I'm passionate about making every day special for those who call Aldringham Court home.

I joined Aldringham Court in 2016 and have worked in care since 2008, after completing my Nursing Degree in Romania in 2007. I enjoy supporting our wonderful team and building strong relationships with our residents and their families to ensure everyone receives compassionate, person-centred care. I am currently working towards my Level 5 Diploma in Adult Care Leadership and Management.
