  • Care Homes Owned by Healthcare Homes Group Ltd
At Healthcare Homes staff are compassionate, committed and caring. They are selected for these values and the management team do everything they can to support staff to help them to fulfil their promises to you.

The team treat everyone they care for just as they would a member of their own family; every member of staff is treated as a family member too.

The homes are warm, friendly places. They range from rural Vicarages and Manor Houses to urban modern builds. Healthcare Homes doesn't do cookie cutter!

Once you have decided that a move into one of their care homes is the right decision for you, they do everything they can to get to know you well so that they can design a care plan that is completely bespoke and unique.

They take the time to find out about your care needs and preferences: the types of hobbies and activities you would enjoy; what you have done in your lifetime and what routines you are used to; what you do and don’t like to eat; and much more. They then design and document a care plan so that everybody involved in your care knows exactly how you would like to be cared for.

And they provide much more than care homes. They also offer wrap-around 24-hour live-in care; homecare packages that adapt to your needs; and specialist care for people with more complex needs. And when your needs change, their care can change to meet your needs.

Uvedale Hall

from A T (Son of Resident) published on 12 December 2025
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Sadly Dad has recently passed. He was aged 103 years and lived a full life. His last 3 years and four months were at Uvedale Hall. He was very independent and proud and really did not want to enter a care home, we were worried about this. Fortunately for us Dad entered Uvedale Hall where he quickly
settled in because the staff are quite simply an amazing bunch. It is such a friendly place, Dad made new friends with guests but especially the staff as they were always chatting to him (he was very social and loved chatting) and they were so very kind and considerate. He became part of their family and they cared for him so well. Dad always enjoyed his food and this was another excellent thing. The entertainment was also incredible, Dad especially enjoyed Bingo, quizzes, pool, exercises and all the brilliant things which were thought up by the entertainment carer, she is just a natural at that job. A big thank you to Uvedale Hall for making Dad's last few years so comfortable and enjoyable

My brother was placed in Aldringham Court Care Home, suffering from lung cancer, which had metastasised into the brain. He was very well cared for by the nursing staff and care assistants. We visited every month or so and always found the home to be a very welcome place. It is a very well run nursing
home with very dedicated and thoughtful staff. I cannot praise them highly enough, especially the nursing staff who were there for our brother when he passed. Well done to you all.

I have been visiting Ladymead frequently for eleven months and my administration for the place continues to grow. The facilities are comfortable, care is taken with appearance, the organisation is effectively run with notable notable equality and cooperation. Many staff have worked here for decades;
new comers are welcomed and helped to integrate, everyone, whatever their specific role, clearly cares about residents and visitors, helping whatever needed. Comments, concerns, requests, receive prompts, undefensive, helpful response. Permitting everything is an atmosphere of welcome, kindness, friendliness, good humor and respect forindividuals.

Mum-in-law is well cared for at Avon Lodge, the staff are considerate of her needs, and any query I have is dealt with promptly. Mum especially enjoys days out, these are throughout the year, the most recent was last week. These trips enable her to experience some time outside of the nursing home environment,
which is important. The manager is approachable and friendly. Overall, Mum is happy with her life at Avon Lodge.

In August 2025 my nanny was very poorly in hospital and she needed a nursing home.
There was a really lovely nurse who came from the nursing home to see myself and my nanny at the hospital. The nurse was very kind, caring and understanding as I explained I had never been in this situation before.

The nurse was very professional and said "it's ok Louise we will look after nanny"
I was feeling very anxious about everything. My nanny was on palliative care at the time .
we was greeted by a wonderful team of nurses , health care assistants and everywhere was very clean and organised, ALL the staff was so lovely and all of a sudden this felt like a family place where I felt comfortable leaving nanny .I sat with nanny I sat with nanny and had a lovely cup of tea there was no one rushing me to leave . I was very emotional at the time and the amazing staff comfted me . The meals nan receives are all home made, there is lots of activities available.well done Park house your all amazing

Park House Nursing Home

My friend transferred from supported living to Park House Nursing Home earlier this year, following a diagnosis of vascular dementia. He had rapidly deteriorated and was in and out of hospital with issues and falls and his level of care was so poor.

Since arriving at Park House he has what I can

only describe as "sprung back to life". This Home is really a home from home. The staff are amazing, kind, caring, friendly, supportive, attentive and always smiling and pleased to see you and everyone under their care. It's apparent that this radiates from the top down. The level of care is exemplary as is the quality of food and activities for the residents.

We are beyond grateful for how you have transformed my friend and we know that he is in the best place possible, which gives us such peace of mind, we couldn't ask for you.

Thank you all so much.

Julie

I feel so comfortable going back to Spain, after moving my father to Kingsmead for palliative care. The staff were reassuring, and I could tell by the atmosphere at the home, they were very caring. They look time to find out what was important to my dad. I'm back after a week and found that, my initial
thoughts have all been proved correct. I could not wish for better at this end of life stage for my father.

The staff make Sovereign Lodge a special place to be; they never forget that this is the residens home, and they check with residents as to their preference for clothing, meals and activities, Many of the team have worked here for over a decade and they are very dedicated to the residents and are invested
in their care. There is a lovely atmosphere; there is regularly live music and sing-alongs. My dads needs are well met and he is happy and safe. Communication is excellent from all staff. Thanks to Margaret, the manager, and the whole Sovereign Lodge Team.

I was very happy that my wife was accepted by Alexandra Care Home to provide care. The carers all deliver very good services and manage challenging behaviour while respecting dignity. Residents are encouraged to participate in activities. The building is very well maintained and is always clean. Security
is also well managed. The manager and administration are very helpful and keep me informed about how my wife is doing.

All the staff were kind, friendly and very caring. Residents were encouraged to join in activities and my wife enjoyed these and though she would not usually join in, the cares encouragement worked! Food was good, the room nice. Overall a great ( respite) experience which we hope to repeat when the
need for respite care comes round again with a view to long term care in the future. Thank you all!

All staff from the Home Manager and the rest of the team have gone above and beyond our expectations. For this

My Mum has lived at Foxearth Lodge for four years now, and has received consistently exemplary care; she is wholly dependent on the wonderful staff, who treat her with dignity, compassion and gentle kindness.

That same core of long-standing staff cared similarly for my Father, who spent the last

year of his life in comfort at Foxearth.

I cannot praise the whole team highly enough - they are always professional, even when working within some trying constraints on occasions.

They always rise to the occasion and I am so grateful to them.

Truly outstanding care.

My mother had 2 weeks of respite care at Aldringham Court because her companion was away, and to inform a decision down the line as to her care preferences. We found the staff outstanding, without exception, everyone was so happy, kind, caring and proactive. Staffing levels were high, which made the
whole environment calm and reassuring. My mother said the food was excellent, and again catering staff was very helpful. Mummy would have liked to have gone into the garden without being accompanied - I understand this is more practical in the summer months. A successful first visit. P.S. Other residents seemed to be comfortable and catered for. Thank you.

My sister was accepted to this care home for early onset dementia. She also had challenging behaviour so I am very happy that this care home felt they could meet her needs. They have been tolerant - my sister is calmer and has settled down.
The staff are all very helpful and dedicated which leads
to a friendly environment. Even though the residents are suffering with dementia and the like, the staff bring warmth and fun when they do activities bringing out the best in the residents to interact.
If I have a concern I feel able to say what this is. I think the staff make every effort to make my sister feel at home. I have peace of mind knowing she is in good hands. I am grateful that the staff have the knowledge to help my sister to enjoy, as much as she is able, her new home.
