My husband has been in The Chase for six weeks now, he has settled in very well, comfortable and feels safe. To see him finally settled the best he has been for 7 months now it so heart warming for us as a family, can only 'thank' the staff for all they do for both my husband and us as a family - would truly recommend 'The Chase' to other family and friends.

My experience has been so far brilliant. I would give the activities team a five star led by Gabby who works very hard and her team. I would prefer to see a more welcoming staff member at reception, as I come in on a Saturday.

My husband came here following discharge from hospital as end of life. He's unable to do anything for himself and is now in his last few days. Myself and both daughters were very impressed with the genuine care and professionalism shown by all staff involved. They showed genuine compassion not only to my husband but also such sensitivity to myself and my daughters, all of which has made an emotional and difficult time a bit easier. Thank you The Chase and all your care workers and nurses. You go over and above to ease our worries and have genuine care for my husband.

The staff were very welcoming and kind from the start. Always ready to chat about my brother-in-law and help with any problems. They were also very good about providing cups of tea and biscuits. My brother-in-law was quite a difficult client, but the staff managed to deal with his very challenging behaviour with kindness and understanding. He can sometimes be very aggressive and violent. They were very good at calming him and could get him at times to do the right thing.

My dad (Steve) spent his final days and weeks at this care home, and we will always be deeply grateful for the care and compassion he received there. From the moment he arrived, every member of staff treated him with kindness, dignity and respect. The team not only cared for my dad but also supported our whole family through a very difficult time. Their warmth professionalism and patience meant so much to us. It brings us comfort to know that dad was so well looked after and surrounded by people who genuinely cared for him. Thank you to everyone at this care home.

My father came to The Chase to receive palliative care. He was looked after exceptionally well by all the staff.
Each time I visited, I was made to feel welcome. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. We were kept informed of my father's condition which made his eventual passing as easy as possible.
In particular, Leanne went above and beyond to ensure my dear dad was comfortable.

Thank you.
