On viewing the car home before my father was moved here. We welcomed to visit without any preplanned appt. The manager Biju was very welcoming and showed a clear passion for caring for the residents and the staff. They involve the residents in decision making for menus and activities. We felt very reassured by him that our father would be looked after well.
On the evening of dads arrival, the staff were so supportive and very welcoming.

It felt like a family organisation from all the staff members. Clothing was laundered exceptionally quickly and every effort was made to accommodate Dads dietary preferences. I would recommend Ladymead to anyone considering care for their relatives within swindon. Thank you all.

I can't praise the staff and care at Ladymead enough. From the first meeting with the manager Byju myself and my father were treated with respect and compassion. My father only stayed a short while, but was made to feel welcome and comfortable and the staff made every effort to accommodate our transition. Nothing gets past the manager he knows exactly what is going on and is professional throughout. The home has a lovely calm atmosphere and feels safe and secure. Thank you for everything.

I can't talk highly enough about the care received by my mother at Ladymead. Mum always dreaded care homes but when there was no other option both she and we, her family, were so glad we chose Ladymead. She had many needs throughout the day and night, all of which were met with compassion and professionalism. During her many hospital stays she longed to be back at Ladymead which she came to consider her home where she felt safest. The management and staff are excellent. The quality of personal care and nursing was top notch and we always had full confidence that on the many occasions when her health deteriorated she would be properly taken care of, action would be taken in a timely manner and we were always kept informed and involved. The home was always kept clean and well maintained and any maintenance or alterations to her room was quickly taken care of. I would highly recommend.

This care home looked after my dad whilst he was very poorly. He only stayed with them for a week but the respect and care he recieved was amazing. Not only did they care very well for my dad at the end if his life, they were also amazing to us his children. Ensuring we had tea/ sandwiches a bed to sleep in when we needed to stay over night. I cannot praise them enough . X

My father was a resident of Ladymead Care Home for the last two weeks of his life and I found the whole experience, from our initial contact right through to after his death, to be excellent.
The staff were all helpful and caring and did their very best to look after our Dad during his stay. Communication from the Care Home was exceptional and we were very impressed how quickly the whole team came to know us by name.

We would like to express our appreciation to the whole Ladymead team for everything that they did.

Placing Mum in a home was one of the hardest decisions we've ever made. She longed to stay in her own home, and it broke our hearts to move her. But the team made that transition gentle and reassuring. With their care, she quickly became comfortable, and we knew she was safe. The staff managed her complex condition with great kindness. Visiting friends commented that she was clearly well cared for. Maggie on reception was a constant source of welcome, always greeting us with warmth.

I have been visiting Ladymead frequently for eleven months and my administration for the place continues to grow. The facilities are comfortable, care is taken with appearance, the organisation is effectively run with notable notable equality and cooperation. Many staff have worked here for decades; new comers are welcomed and helped to integrate, everyone, whatever their specific role, clearly cares about residents and visitors, helping whatever needed. Comments, concerns, requests, receive prompts, undefensive, helpful response. Permitting everything is an atmosphere of welcome, kindness, friendliness, good humor and respect forindividuals.

My dad was cared for by the lovely staff at Ladymead for the final 4 months of his long life (aged 97!)
They were ALL really friendly, chatty ,always filling me in on how dad had been. The office had lots of extra paperwork dealing with the Council and was so patient. The entertainment staff really enthusiastic, there was always something going on. Even the cheff could often be found chatting with the residents in the lounge.
The personal carers were great, they seemed to genuinly love their job and my dad! You'd walk in and find the Nurse or the Manager or the lovely maintenance guy chatting to dad about cricket which he loved.
They all seemed so genuinly sorry when my dad passed, and even the enthusiastic co ordinator who was on her holiday phoned me a week later for a nice chat about dad.

They are a great Team at Ladymead, with a real family feel and I am so pleased we chose for dad to stay with them.My thanks to all of you.

I have often had to contact the Manager to help organise things for Dad's recent move to Ladymead. He has been quick to respond and help with any queries and the admin staff have given prompt replies and great pro-active advice. The home has a wonderful entertainments organiser who plans many varied activities and is actively enquiring about residents' interests in order to organise events that would appeal to them. The food has been excellent, tasty and a great variety provided. Ladymead is filled with many cheerful, kind and caring staff. Thank you to all !

My Mother In Law has been resident at Ladymead for a number of years. She is comfortable, happy, feels safe and is very well looked after. She remains mobile and is encouraged to do as much as she can for herself. She enjoys her food which always looks appetising and includes the occasional snack. Her ground-floor room is cosy with a small garden outside her window where she sees various small birds on her bird feeders, squirrels and even a small deer! She is encouraged to take part in activities and enjoys a good singsong, colouring, and likes to do a little bit of knitting. I visited on Valentines day just as their valentines party was coming to an end and listened to a very good singer who she really enjoyed. The Manager and ALL his staff are very caring and it is reassuring to know that my mother in law is happy and content to be there.
