The cleanliness and hygiene of both residents' and public areas is excellent.

Having found Aldringham Court on the internet and close by to where upon my parents live "Leiston" and reading reviews I met with Amanda and had a pleasant tour to which I found a room for my father... Very pleasant... All the staff are pleasant and polite and welcoming!

I always found staff friendly, helpful & kind and my husband was always clean as was bedding & room. He had very good care and attention by regular staff but it certainly fell slightly when agency staff were on duty.

When visiting we have always found the regular carers to be friendly, supportive and very caring both towards the resident and visitors. You always knew that supply staff were covering as the attitude was more lax. Overall we would recommend Maynell House as a lovely welcoming home.

My Dad was a resident here for 6 months and passed away May 2026. The staff are second to none - polite, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Dad had delirium and was treated with expert care. I cannot recommend Barking Hall enough.

This is a very loving and welcoming Care home, my uncle is very well looked after and really loves being at Aldringham. All the staff a very kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. There is a good range of entertainment for the residents. The meals are freshly prepared and residents have the choice of what they would like and is adapted to meet there needs. The new manager Amanda is so lovely she had really turned the care home around and spends her time with the residents getting to know them.

My dad moved from another care home to Handford house, its the best thing that has ever happened to him,, the staff, management are absolutely amazing nothing is to much for them to help my dear dad. Would definitely recommend the place.

The White House staff were frindly, kind and caring towards not only my mum but also my dad when he visited. They kept me informed of any concerns about mum's health and well-being. Their care of her in her final days was compassionate and I am very happy with how she was cared for.

I am so pleased to have my mum in there, knowing she has 24 hour care and support.

My husband has lived at the Care Home since June. I am deeply grateful for the exceptional care he receives. The staff are compassionate, professional and attentive to his specific daily needs. They treat him with genuine dignity and kindness. Communication with the manager Elena is great, open and reassuring. I can talk to her and her staff about my my husbands care and questions are listened to and answered. The environment is clean, homely, welcoming and well managed which gives me peace of mind. I cannot praise the team enough for their lovely support they provide for my husband, myself and family.

We came after I had an accident & couldn't use my right arm. - I am my husbands carer From the first we were treated with kindness & compassion from everybody and always with a smile. Rooms were changed so that we could be together and every effort made to support & help in all ways We could not be returning home without the help we received here.

My brother arrived at Haughgate in March and was welcomed with kindness and respect. He sadly died in June but over that time the care he received from everyone was always friendly and appropriate, even persuading him to join a couple of activities. Although he wasn't one to join in, the activity team gently encouraged him and he gave it a try. As he grew more frail the care he received from all the staff, nurses, carers, the manager and the administrator, was exemplary and always delivered with a smile. The compassion with which he (and I) were treated eased the end when it came. Haughgate is an exceptional place made more so by the friendly and compassionate manager.

I was very aprehensive about my husband going into a nursing facility but everything was just perfect, there isn't a single thing I can fault, the staff at every level were wonderful and treated us all with sympathy, empathy and the utmost respect. we were only there for two days/nights and even after my husband passed everyone was just wonderful.

Excellent communication from the start. Accommodating & listen to views & all care staff efficient & provide help when necessary. Facilities have more than most care homes. Room big with ensuit. Activities coordinator takes people out into the community & tailors Activities to suit needs.

Mum is always looked after well at Mill Lane, the carers are very attentive with Mum, making her always look clean and smartly dressed, a nice care home for Mum's needs.

My experience has been very good. The staff are very helpful, the nurses always come to ask me if I need my medication. No complaints at all.

Thank you for looking after Dad, he is in the right place and we all appreciate the care he is getting. As said to Ellen, the White House is the first home I have visited not to smell of wee! Great house keeping.
