Our experience of Claremont nursing home from the initial phone call right through to end of life has been excellent. The staff were always happy and nothing has been too much trouble . My mum had a room overlooking the courtyard which we found included mum in the outside activities even on days she didn't manage to get up. The activity staff always has something going on with music and singers most weeks. The nursing staff always kept us up to date with medical decisions. I would recommend Claremont as a nursing home to anyone considering it for a family member .

We feel very fortunate to have found Olive House for Mum's ongoing care.

My mum fell down the stairs from top to bottom in The Gables on Monday 3rd of August. This is her 6th fall since December 2025, this one being the worst. She was taken to hospital where I was informed by the hospital that The Gables have refused to have her back. They didn't even have the decency to inform the family, I emailed the home on Friday 7th, still not had a response from them. Shame they didn't wait as she is on end of life care now (absolutely disgusted)

My mum, Brenda was on palliative care at Claremont house. The care given was friendly , caring and genuine. The staff were fantastic and they cared for mum until the end. Would recommend Claremont house to anyone needing help. Thank you to all the staff who came to love mum, my brother and I appreciate all your kindness.

On occasions when we have visited and there has been entertainment, Mum always seems bright and enjoys the music.

Mother is well looked after. Great team, especially the activity lady does a tremendous job. Food is good, excellent. Mother enjoys it. A lovely home that feel comfort and love to all.

Residents are always well cared for. The staff are always friendly and chatty, not only to those they care for but also to the residents and relations. A variety of activities are arranged for the residents, which they thoroughly enjoy.

My mother has settled in well since moving in as a resident. The care and attention she has received has been excellent. She has had a number of illnesses since arriving not at all related to the care home but they have been treated quickly and she seems to be happier in the home and enjoys the social activities that the care team provide.

I'm always kept updated with anything I need to be made aware of in regards to my mother.

The home is very warm and friendly, clean and tidy, the carers are all happy and friendly, all the team look after the residents extremely well, management is always available if needed, and are present in the home and it's lovely to see residents happy

My brother moved into Meadow House in January 2026. I cannot believe the difference in him - wow, just wow. Thank you to all the staff for giving me my brother back. He is looking so well; the improvements are amazing. The home is like home from home, we have been able to spend such lovely quality time with him. Thank you.

Olive House has a warm, friendly and very human feel. My dad is in the early stages of dementia, and what matters most to me is that the staff seem genuinely engaged with him and committed to his well-being. Everyone I have met has been kind, approachable and helpful, and there is a clear sense that residents are treated with dignity and care. Overall, I am very happy and reassured that Dad is being looked after by a team that wants the best for him.

My mother has dementia, is bed bound and is well looked after by all the staff who always greet me and have a smile on their faces. The staff are very polite and helpful nothing is too much trouble.

I 100% recommend Olive House

Our Mum spent her final few weeks at Overbury House, the staff were courteous and caring and nothing was too much trouble. All questions were answered with informative information and knowledge. The cleanliness of the home and our mum's room was always spotless.

In her final few hours she was treated with the dignity she deserved and the Care Home Manager came and offered her condolences as did some of the other staff which was very kind.

We cannot comment on the food facilities other than the portions seemed generous.

Olive House is a lovely, clean & friendly care home that makes you feel comfortable when you're there. All of the staff are super helpful and go out of their way to support the residents and their families. They put on some lovely activities for every one who wants to get involved.

Overall, I'm very grateful for the excellent standard of care and the supportive environment provided here.
