Strong links with the local community also help residents remain connected with life beyond the home.

I really couldn't have asked for more. The management team and all the staff were amazing. Nothing too much trouble. As well the physical support mam needed, the emotional support she received was excellent. Staff genuinely care about their residents, you can really see that. My only regret was I hadn't got mam there sooner. Mam sadly passed away after 6 days of end of care.The support she received as well myself and family, meant the world to me. I couldn't have got through the last few days with Mam without them. I don't really have the words to express how I feel about everyone at Olive House. How they dealt with mam after she passed, she looked beautiful. For them all to be there when mam was taken by the funeral home, meant so much. I studied Nursing Services and Psychology before beginning my career in care, and I have now been working in care homes for around four and a half years.
