A varied programme of meaningful activities gives residents opportunities to continue familiar hobbies and interests, spend time with others, and try new experiences. Activities are adapted to individual abilities and preferences, with one-to-one opportunities available alongside group activities. Strong links with the local community also help residents remain connected with life beyond the home.

Visited my aunt in a pod, it was clean, warm and comfortable. It was only for 30 minutes so not as long as we usually visit but we were ok with that as it's only the second visit since March.

Although this has been a really difficult time to see family in care homes, it was fantastic to finally see Mum in the new visitor's pod. It was good to have a 'near normal' chat with her instead of trying to shout through a window. The care home staff have been fantastic throughout the whole year trying to keep everyone safe and providing entertainment to keep residents occupied. I can't wait until we will be able to go inside again! But know we have to be patient to keep everyone safe.

The staff are helpful and respectful and the regime is relaxed, generally. I would like more exercise for mind and body. Generally, a friendly and helpful atmosphere and I marvel at the forbearance of the staff in dealing with some of the residents.

I was allowed to have a safe distance visit to see my 92-year-old Mum in the garden on her birthday. Then later that day she was given a tea party which sadly I couldn't be indoors for, to share it with her. The staff are extremely kind and caring and made her feel safe during the lockdown.
