The staff were amazing with my father who ended his days in Olive House. They were so friendly and cheerful all the time. It was always a pleasure to visit, even when my father was very ill.
I would highly recommend the home as it was always clean and bright and the food was fabulous.

Thank you all so much.

Mum came in to Olive House for respite after not being able to cope at home. I was worried about her being there but had no need to. It is a lovely place with great staff. Very friendly and very kind so much so I wouldn't mind a couple of weeks in there myself.

The vast majority of staff are outstanding - they listen to concerns, address issues and are kind and caring. The senior carers are both professional and excellent when dealing with medical emergencies.

The food is excellent and offers good choices. With better communication and increased levels of consistency among staff, this care home could be outstanding on all levels.

Our dearest friend (who we acted as family to) came to Olive House for respite care/holiday and loved it so much she didn't want to leave. From top to bottom staff are excellent and caring. Activities are perfectly tailored and enjoyed by the residents.

During the 4 1/2 years she was there the staff became like close friends to her and us. When her health deteriorated to being bed-ridden, the care and dignity shown to her was impeccable. It was her home and both her and Olive House will be missed by us.

My dear friend moved into Olive House on 21/10/13 for respite. From the first day, she loved it and did not want to leave she remained until her death 12/3/18. Almost blind she took part in all the activities, outings, fundraising with the help from the wonderful staff throughout her residency. Her final weeks where she needed more attention all of the staff loved her and she loved them. You would never get a moan or complaint from her. as she had no immediate family friends were her visitors. Who were all happy with the care everyone gave her. Olive House is a wonderful home which I shall continue to visit as I have made many friends a real family home.

My mother had lived at Olive House for nearly three years during which time I felt that she was well cared for by the staff who went above the call of duty. My mother was happy and settled there and enjoyed the company of the staff and the way they went about their duties. In particular two members of staff who were so caring and supportive to my daughter and me in the final days and made everything that little more bearable.

My Nana was cared for extremely well at Olive House Care Home. She was happy there and the staff were very friendly, genuinely caring and always helpful and kind. I would not hesitate in recommending Olive House to anyone. The food seemed very good and there were always plenty of different activities on offer for the residents. Some staff need special mention for their outstanding care and support for Nana and also ourselves at the end. Thank you to you all.

Overall the care provided is very good, the staff caring and always very pleasant to the resident. I have noticed a few agency workers caring lately and whilst they are good at their job, I feel more permanent staff would be a better routine for the residents.

After caring for my mother-in-law for two years since her daughter died (my wife) she settled in well to the Olive House care home.

On each visit, she comments that she is well cared for and food and activities are good and she likes it. Not bad for a 97-year-old.

My nanny has been welcomed into this home right from the first meeting she had with the manager who visited her in hospital. Every member of staff is happy, helpful and eager to please my nanny in any way they can. Olive House is very clean and had lots of facilities. I could not have picked a nicer home to care for and love my nanny.

Thank you all of you for your hard work and determination in making this a wonderful home.

Following a second stroke in 2 years, and over 3 months in a stroke rehabilitation ward, I was truly relieved to be staying in a lovely, quiet room for 1 week's respite care at Olive House at Newton Flotman. The care and kindness shown by all staff was much appreciated. The food was 'simply the best'. I loved my time there and have already recommended your home to people.
