The White House provides residential care on a long term or short term basis for up to 31 residents. The White House has lovely landscaped gardens with a number of mature ornamental trees, shrubs and other seasonal planting. The home provides spacious single or double bedrooms, all of which are decorated to a high standard and exceptionally well furnished. They encourage residents to bring items of their own furniture and possessions to complement those already provided and to help make their room an individual retreat.

The White House is located within a quiet residential area of Beccles where its position ensures peace and privacy. The home is a beautiful period house with large windows and interesting architectural details. Its elegant and airy reception rooms are particularly welcoming, and you will find that the interior decoration has been carried to take advantage of the building's individual character. One of the most stunning features of the home is the entrance, which is dominated by beautiful mature trees.

The home also features a garden-based cabin, equipped with two entrance points, protective Perspex screens, intercom system, heating/insulation, and a nurse call button. This facility allows them to provide greater capacity for visits by friends and relatives when they are not able to meet visiting needs within the home. Strict infection control procedures are maintained to keep all residents, staff and visitors safe.

My brother and I are very pleased with the excellent care our mum receives. All the staff are kind, friendly, supportive and professional towards our mum and ourselves. Our mum is encouraged to join in the excellent activities on offer, but staff are understanding if she does not wish to or would rather
be in her room for some quiet time. Mum can sometimes become unsettled, but staff are good at reassuring/distracting her and will contact us if necessary.

Mum is well looked after and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Mum likes gardening and can't wait for the garden upgrade to be finished. Food is good and we're always offered a drink when we visit and made to feel welcome. Any concerns raised are dealt with in a timely manner.

My husband came to the White House for only a short time due to his challenging behaviour brought about by Alzheimer's. In the short time he was there I was very impressed by the staff who came across as kind and caring. The home smelled clean and had a peaceful ambience which is so important for all
residents and you can't ask for more. Furthermore, the food is home cooked with delicious cakes!

My husband has only been a resident for about 3 weeks. In that time he has been very well cared for by the staff. Food, although he has a pureed diet, I have had 2 Sunday lunches with him, good well cooked meals. Staff are always kind and friendly with me.

My dear wife passed away in October 2024 after spending two and a half years as a resident in The White House, because she was diagnosed with dementia in 2013. She lost her mobility in 2022 and could no longer remain at home. The White House Care Home was chosen by me after several bad experiences using
respite facilities in other care homes. The treatment and well-being she received The White House was exemplary. Her limited recognition and quality of life remained with her right up to the end. I cannot give enough praise and gratitude to the manager and staff at The White House for providing such kindness, support, and care. My heartfelt thanks.

My father has been a resident for 2 months. The staff have been caring and have adapted to address his needs. We live a distance away so communication has been important as it is not a quick journey to pop in. The staff have kept us updated and helped to arrange telephone and video calls. My father

My dad has been a resident of the home for over four years. I have always found my dad to be clean and well-looked after. The staff are attentive to his needs and always try to involve him in activities, even with the difficulties his dementia can present. Overall I am happy with his care.

My mother is receiving excellent care from all the staff at The White House. The manager and her team are all so friendly and welcoming to our family when we visit. Mum is very happy here and settled in very quickly. There are many organised activities arranged by their activities co-ordinator, who

The White House provides an outstanding standard of care in all areas. My mother had to be admitted at very short notice, she was made to feel comfortable from the very moment she arrived. The whole staff team has responded really well to her changing needs and communication with me has been very good.
Knowing that our mother is being so well looked after is very important to me: she enjoys the social side of care home life, she speaks highly of the carers and the domestic staff, and she praises the quality of the food. Since arriving she has taken part in various activities including music afternoons and the Halloween Party.

My mum's care at The White House has given us great peace of mind. The staff are gentle and caring towards her and I can see by her big smiles when she sees them that she likes and trusts them. The chef is brilliant, producing tasty food to try to tempt her appetite. The home is kept spotlessly clean.
Every member of staff, when passing Mum's room, will either call out to her or stop to have just a little chat. With Mum having advanced dementia and having lost all physical ability, and being bedbound, these little moments make all the difference to the day.

My mother has received excellent care while staying at The White House. She loves joining in with the activities, especially singing and dancing. This has improved her mental health.
She was very frail and wasn't eating properly as she is very fussy with food but now she is putting on weight and enjoys
eating thanks to the chefs and staff. All staff at the care home are kind and friendly.
