My grandmother has settled well into Home Close. The home meets the requirements for her complex care safely and well. Management and care staff team are always keen to help and provide support.

My mother went into Home Close for end-of-life care. The care she received was fantastic. Her granddaughter has SEN, and the staff were just as brilliant with her, too. The staff did everything they could to make Mum comfortable. They are all excellent, from the manager down. Nothing was too much trouble.
Thank you to each and every one of you for making her last few weeks and days as comfortable as you possibly could.

My wife has been resident at Home Close since 2016, and I am very glad that she is in this care home rather than others that we looked at. The staff are caring, dedicated and professional, and appear to love their job. The general atmosphere has improved noticeably since the arrival of the new manager,
who initiated improvements straight away and is lively, friendly and dedicated. Her stated aim is to improve conditions for residents, and she doing this with great enthusiasm. The care home's situation, on a quiet village road and surrounded by lawns and mature trees make it a very pleasant place for residents to enjoy. I recommend Home Close wholeheartedly, and without any reservation.

Home Close has a peaceful & calm atmosphere. The residents when together in the TV room seem content. Management and staff are courteous and ready to answer/deal with questions.
Staff acted swiftly on 2 occasions when my mother in an emergency which was very impressive.

Many positive changes took place since new manager came on board. Staff all always smiling, helping with everything. Carpets are gradually being replaced by wooden floors (more hygienic, and smell better). New activities are being introduced. Huge thank you for looking after my mam.

I am so happy that Mum is here. She has a lovely room, the home is bright and clean but, most importantly, the staff are kind, conscientious and caring. Every member of staff I have engaged with, from the nurses to the carers to the cleaners are friendly and efficient. The Manager oversees everything
but clearly trusts and values her staff. She runs an excellent home and is very visible to staff and residents. She is making many changes as each time I visit, something else has been upgraded, decorated or improved. Home Close isn't as flashy as some care homes, but I'm so glad Mum is here because I know that she is treated with genuine affection by the well-trained staff. She was so independent and active before dementia, falls and frailty led us here and I worried about how she would adapt but everyone has made the transition surprisingly easy. Mum is safe, clean, well-fed and happy and I can sleep at night.

Very pleased to see that my sister had settled in. Impressed with the accommodation very light and clean.
We were invited to stay for lunch, which was most satisfactory.
The facility and activities looked good and all the staff we met were very pleasant and caring. The manager was a bundle of energy

My overall experience is excellent, from the meals, laundry, carers to the nurses. Every person involved in the care of my resident was outstanding.
The love they have for the job they do is fantastic.
The patience they show and the dignity they have cannot be faulted. I couldn't thank them enough.

The manager was incredibly patient and helpful. So kind and caring with my parents. I was impressed with her professionalism and her commitment to going the extra mile. The staff I have encountered so far are all really caring, compassionate and attentive towards patients, making them comfortable.

My mum recently moved into Home Close and our experience during her first few weeks has been only positive. Every member of staff that I have encountered has been friendly, helpful and considerate. The transition from being in her home to being in a care home could not have been dealt with any better.
Mum is joining in with some of the activities, which I did not expect, she has had her hair done, is enjoying the meals and she has a smile on her face! My brother feels like a massive weight has been removed from our shoulders.

The care given to my sister is excellent. Despite being in bed or a recliner chair al the time she has not suffered from pneumonia, thromboses, or pressure sores. Staff are allways welcoming and happy to chat and help. The home is clean and never smells which can be the case elsewhere.
