I have never been in a place like this before, and I was worried how I would settle in. I was worried about how I would cope with a lot of people, but have managed very well because they are so nice and have helped me. They are all nice people, young and old. I am happy here.

Thank you all so much. Dad was really happy here. Everyone we met was cheerful, welcoming and went the extra mile to make life easier and happier for dad (+ the family). Wonderful range of activities + super food. Such a lovely atmosphere. An unexpected pleasure which put us all at ease.

My mother had to go into respite care for a short period following a home visit when it was apparent she was not able to cope on her own until her pain had been stabilised & brought under control. We liaised with the home & were able to get her a room the following day with all medication &
subsequent GP visits arranged through the Clinical Team there. Just what she needed at the time.

My husband had a fortnight of respite care at Whitecliffe House in May, and we were very pleased with every aspect of the home. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and attentive and made a real effort to ensure he was comfortable and settled in happily, even though it was only for two weeks.
He arrived knowing nobody and left again feeling that we had both made a number of new friends, and we will certainly hope that he can be accommodated there again for future respite stay when the need arises.

I've broken my ankle recently and have been unable to visit my mother. The staff at the Home have made sure that not only is mum well looked after but that I'm kept informed too.
I have been able to ring and speak to senior staff, who have been very sympathetic about my situation. We have all
worked together, to ensure that my mother's welfare and well-being have been a priority.

My family would definitely recommend Whitecliff. Mum stayed here for 10 months before she sadly passed away and I know she really enjoyed the company of the staff, carers and nurses. They always went that extra mile and even visitors would be made to feel welcome. No one wants to have to live in a
rest home but Mum actually enjoyed her stay and it was the best decision we made together to make sure she was safe and had the right care and attention.

All the team were so helpful, friendly and professional. In such a time when you feel you are letting your loved one down you were made to feel you were doing the right thing. It was like home from home there and my dad was so well cared for.

Whitecliffe House exceeded all expectations during my recent visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and the home was spotlessly clean. There were numerous activities available for residents, tailored to their interests. Interactions between staff and residents were kind and genuine, creating a
calm and happy atmosphere throughout. As a registered manager myself, I have high standards, all of which were met by Whitecliffe House. My great-nan is very happy there and speaks highly of the care staff, chefs, and management. Overall, Whitecliffe House provides exceptional care and homeliness.

I moved into Whitecliff House on September 20th, 2023. I was welcomed and moved into my room, and all my belongings had been discreetly labelled and hung in the wardrobe or folded neatly into the drawers. I was checked on regularly during the first few days after my operation to make sure I had no
infection in the wind. The nurses redressed my wound daily. Every member of staff, without fail, was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. The residents were a happy bunch, and I felt welcome to join them. The food in the home was really lovely. I have had the most relaxing time here for the whole four weeks.
A safe and happy place to be, with great care and wonderful food.

Excellent home in every way - kindness is beyond compare. Choice and presentation of all meals are superb, made like a five-star hotel! If it ever becomes a requirement, I would be very happy to become a full-time resident of this most excellent care home, for like a home it is, run by a super
manager and his dedicated crew.

Excellent. I made friends with several residents. I enjoyed the minibus outings with the excellent driver who knew lots of routes and pointed out things of interest. The staff were all superb, helpful, caring and had time to chat (they told me they had been told to talk to residents and would not
get into trouble for 'slacking'). The surroundings were bright and cheerful and very welcoming. It was especially good that I could get advice from the nursing staff about the progress (or not) of my broken leg.
