My husband died at Whitecliffe House in July, having been in the home for two months, initially only for respite. He was very happy there, and the friendly, attentive and professional care he received, especially in his last days, was outstanding. I also much appreciated the sympathetic support that I received from the staff after his passing.
Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for your loss and appreciate your thoughtful words about the care your husband received at Whitecliffe House. We're pleased he was happy and so well supported during his time with us, and that our team was able to offer you support.

All the staff are absolutely wonderful, so kind and caring at all times. Whitecliffe House is beautifully clean, welcoming, and always a friendly place to visit. It is very comforting to us to know he is happy, safe and always well catered for. Thank you!

I cannot fault the quality of care given towards my father Patrick.
Thank you for your kind feedback. We're pleased your father has received such high-quality care at Whitecliffe House, and we appreciate your kind words about the team's support and dedication.
My mother was 6 months at Whitecliffe House before she died aged 100 years. She was at first a reluctant resident, as she had always been remarkably independent. Through the steadfast care and attention of the staff, coupled with the care home's doctrine of freedom of expression and movement, my mother settled in and soon became comfortable. As her needs progressively changed, the care was subtly and thoughtfully modified. The staff worked highly effectively as a team, deploying their many specialist skills to deliver all aspects of her care, including dietary, medical, mobility, sanitary, companionship and administrative needs. In addition, the Care Home was unwavering in their support and advice to our family. In our efforts to support our mother, they were diligent in allowing us fully flexible access. They kept us informed about relevant legal, logistic, financial and other administrative matters. They included us in organised collective activities and helped mum prepare for us to take her out on short excursions whilst she was still able. The care home is a very bright, spotlessly clean, well organized, secure and welcoming place. It inculcates a sense of wellbeing and belonging, enabling residents and visitors the confidence to enjoy friendly company or privacy to suit themselves. I would highly recommend Whitecliffe House to anyone looking for a friendly, homely, safe place to live and be cared for.
Thank you for your kind feedback. It was a privilege to care for your mother at Whitecliffe House, and we appreciate your thoughtful words about the team's attentive support, professionalism and the reassuring environment created for both residents and families.
Right from my initial introduction to Whitecliffe House, I sensed this care home was right for my mother to be in at the end of her life. The home manager and all the team were kind, dedicated and professional in looking after mother. They attended to her numerous needs with integrity and dedication, always focused on what was best for Mum. As a result, instead of being a forlorn individual isolated in her own existence, she was living with as much vitality as she could muster, absolutely determined to make the best of everything around her. No one could expect, seek or receive better care anywhere than Mum experienced in Whitecliffe.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for your loss; it was a privilege to care for your mother at Whitecliffe House. We're appreciate your kind words about the compassionate and professional care, and the way our team supported her to live with dignity, comfort and the best possible quality of life.

From my initial enquiry I have found Whitecliffe House Care Home to be extremely professional and thorough. I had recently moved to the area and wanted to move my mother closer. From start to finish the staff at Whitecliffe were in constant contact with me and always kept me up to date on the progress of my applications. My mother has now been in their care for over 3 months and I couldn't be happier with her progress. All the staff are so attentive, patient and caring. My mother's health has improved immensely.
Thank you for your kind feedback. We're delighted to hear that from your first enquiry to your mother's ongoing care, the Whitecliffe House team's attentive, patient and professional approach has supported her so well and contributed to such positive progress.
My dad came in for respite for 2 weeks and my mum joined the next day. They are so happy and look so much better. The staff are so friendly and caring, nothing is too much they are treated with respect and dignity. They join in the daily activities (which I never thought they would) and really enjoy it. They are eating well so the food is amazing. They love it so much they want to stay permanently.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We're delighted to hear your parents have settled in so happily at Whitecliffe House and are enjoying the activities, good food and the team's friendly, respectful care so much that they would like to stay.
I have never been in a place like this before, and I was worried how I would settle in. I was worried about how I would cope with a lot of people, but have managed very well because they are so nice and have helped me. They are all nice people, young and old. I am happy here.

My mother had to go into respite care for a short period following a home visit when it was apparent she was not able to cope on her own until her pain had been stabilised & brought under control. We liaised with the home & were able to get her a room the following day with all medication & subsequent GP visits arranged through the Clinical Team there. Just what she needed at the time.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We're so pleased we could offer your mother the support she needed and that her respite stay helped stabilise her health and comfort. Your kind words mean a great deal to the whole team at Whitecliffe House.
Didn't plan on coming in but due to a fall came in for respite but now permanent. The staff are friendly, helpful and caring. They always help and I enjoy having a laugh with them. They go out of their way to make life here happy.

My wife has only been resident fir a short time, but the whole family is very impressed with the facilities and the excellence of the staff. Nothing is to much trouble for either residents or relatives. There is a great willingness to ensure the residents are happy

I have been able to ring and speak to senior staff, who have been very sympathetic about my situation. We have all worked together, to ensure that my mother's welfare and well-being have been a priority.
Thank you for your feedback. It's great to hear that you've felt reassured whilst you have not been able to visit the home. Our team is always here to ensure both residents and their families receive the care and attention they need, and we're so pleased to hear that we've been able to keep you connected and involved with your mum's care. Thank you again.
My family would definitely recommend Whitecliff. Mum stayed here for 10 months before she sadly passed away and I know she really enjoyed the company of the staff, carers and nurses. They always went that extra mile and even visitors would be made to feel welcome. No one wants to have to live in a rest home but Mum actually enjoyed her stay and it was the best decision we made together to make sure she was safe and had the right care and attention.
All the team were so helpful, friendly and professional. In such a time when you feel you are letting your loved one down you were made to feel you were doing the right thing. It was like home from home there and my dad was so well cared for.
Thank you for your kind review of Whitecliffe House. We're very glad to hear that our team was helpful, friendly and professional during such an emotional time and that you felt supported while your dad received the care he needed.
Whitecliffe House exceeded all expectations during my recent visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and the home was spotlessly clean. There were numerous activities available for residents, tailored to their interests. Interactions between staff and residents were kind and genuine, creating a calm and happy atmosphere throughout. As a registered manager myself, I have high standards, all of which were met by Whitecliffe House. My great-nan is very happy there and speaks highly of the care staff, chefs, and management. Overall, Whitecliffe House provides exceptional care and homeliness.
