The staff are friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home. The care given feels personal and always accommodating. The food is very good with plenty of choice and the activities are varied and interesting. My Mother really looks forward to going for respite which gives us peace of mind and happy
to go and relax ourselves knowing she is safe and well cared for.

My dad came in for respite for 2 weeks and my mum joined the next day. They are so happy and look so much better. The staff are so friendly and caring, nothing is too much they are treated with respect and dignity. They join in the daily activities (which I never thought they would) and really enjoy
it. They are eating well so the food is amazing. They love it so much they want to stay permanently.
Reply from Emma Williams, Home Manager at Whitecliffe HouseThank you for your lovely feedback. We're delighted to hear your parents have settled in so happily at Whitecliffe House and are enjoying the activities, good food and the team's friendly, respectful care so much that they would like to stay.

I feel very fortunate to be in Court Lodge and can't fault it in any way. I'm very happy here. Very good rooms. The staff are excellent. My husband was here before me and the care received was excellent, particularly when knowing the fact that most staff have been here for 20 years speaks for itself.

The Castle View team are exceptional. Every member of staff I have met is courteous, and demonstrates kindness, compassion and respect when supporting my mum, who accessed residential respite care here twice in 2025, with another month long stay planned.
The Registered Manager is clearly a skilled
and experienced leader.
The home is always clean and bright and has a really upbeat atmosphere from the moment you walk through the front door with music playing most days. Everyone chats to mum and they welcome her family and visitors warmly.
The nursing care is wonderful. Castle View is all I could ask for for my mum when I take a break from providing her care - most importantly she loves it! She feels cared for, respected and safe.
Reply from Ashika Reddy, Home Manager at Castle ViewThank you for your wonderful feedback. We're delighted to hear how much your mum enjoys her stays at Castle View, and that the team's kindness, compassionate nursing care and welcoming atmosphere give you confidence that she feels safe, respected and so well looked after.

Overall, I am delighted with Canford Chase. On entry, one gets a sense of calm, yet some activitity always seems to be going on in the lounge and that's good. I must admit, it is rather nice to always be addressed by name. The staff do appear to have had a huge beneficial effect on my wife's wellbeing
and for that I thank them wholeheartedly.

My Mum has been resident at Court Lodge for nearly a year. I now have peace of mind that she is safe, healthy and is being well cared for. I live very close to the home so can pop in whenever I like. What really strikes you when you walk in, is how friendly all the staff are. From walking in the
front door to reaching my mums room on the 1st floor, I receive so many warm greetings. It's a very relaxed, homely atmosphere. I'm always offered a cup of tea and if I'm lucky a glass of Prosecco on occasions! From what I witness, the care is very good. The staff are polite and residents are treated with great dignity. One of the outstanding areas is having a team of staff dedicated to providing activities for the residents. My Mum chooses not to join in with much in the home, but staff try to encourage her or they take activities to her room. They even lay on weekly outings. Thank you to all staff for all you do. It's very hard work but you always do it with a smile

My relative entered Fernhill in November 2025 and we were so pleased we chose this wonderful care home.. From the day of arrival, he was treated with love, care and respect. He settled immediately and was extremely happy from day one. Sadly he became ill and the staff were marvellous in supporting him
far beyond their duties and keeping the family informed of his treatment.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this fantastic care home .

I am so impressed by the care and kindness shown to my father. The staff got to know him and understand his sense of humour very quickly, and how he is increasingly showing his great age, they remain endlessly patient and helpful. His choices are respected while he still receives the support he needs.
He loves the food and never complains about a thing. I also feel well supported. They are very quick to respond to any pain.

When my mother began experiencing severe symptoms of dementia, she was transferred to Linden House in Lymington. From the moment she arrived, the staff showed remarkable dedication to helping her feel calm and comfortable. They were consistently kind, gentle, and compassionate, even in the face of her
difficult and challenging symptoms. Our family will always be deeply grateful for the care and compassion they provided, and for ensuring that her passing was peaceful and dignified.

Canford Chase is, without doubt, a wonderful environment where residents are enjoying care of a very high standard. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the nursing care, if required, is excellent.
The home's decor and furnishings create a calm and welcoming ambiance that is more like a hotel
than a care home. My relative is resident here and is very happy with the care she is receiving from her nurses and carers.
Truly a first class delivery of great care. Thoroughly recommended.
