My parents were warmly welcomed when they moved into Woodpeckers in July. Mum thoroughly enjoyed the extensive range of craft activities and they both loved the trips out in the minibus. Dad attends exercise classes which are really helping him and a highlight of the week is definitely Sunday singing. During my mum's recent illness the staff have gone above and beyond to support my father and our family. Woodpeckers offers a wonderful caring community of which we are privileged to be a part.

We were so impressed with the level of care given to our Dad during his respite/end of life care at Brook View, West Moors. There was a very homely and relaxed atmosphere coupled with skilled, caring and compassionate staff in all departments from management, carers, nurses, housekeeping, reception, maintenance, gardener and restaurant. Dad was always treated with respect and dignity, he enjoyed the beautiful garden and loved visiting the cafe and garden room. We were also treated as part of the Brook View family and were well supported. We can highly recommend without reservation

My husband Ian was admitted to Belmore Lodge on 16 September after a month in hospital. He was seriously ill after a stroke and sadly he died on 27 September, so was only there for a short time. However I found all the staff, both admin and nursing, extremely friendly, helpful and they cared and...
My husband Ian was admitted to Belmore Lodge on 16 September after a month in hospital. He was seriously ill after a stroke and sadly he died on 27 September, so was only there for a short time. However I found all the staff, both admin and nursing, extremely friendly, helpful and they cared and looked after Ian so well. He died peacefully there on a Sunday evening. I am very grateful that his last few days were spent there. They have continued to be in touch with great sympathy. I appreciate this so much.

Nan has been at Avon Reach for 8 weeks, the staff are friendly, proffessional and supportive. We have been really impressed that everyone has taken the time to get to know nan's likes and dislikes. The activities team are very inclusive and encouraging at getting nan involved in activities. Nan has had a day trip organised to the isle of wight after sharing series from her past.

My father who is 97 has been resident at Avon Cliff since May 2026, requiring nursing care. The care and support given to him during his residency have been excellent. The staff at all levels are always helpful and give time to discuss matters.

My father who is 97 has been resident at Avon Cliff since May 2026, requiring nursing care. The care and support given to him during his residency have been excellent. The staff at all levels are always helpful and give time to discuss matters. His room is large, airy and kept beautifully clean. The facilities and activities at Avon Cliff are wonderful. He participates in the daily lounge activities and has been on trips out which he has enjoyed greatly.
He has improved dramatically since moving in to Avon Cliff, much of which is due to the care he has received from the wonderful team who work there.

The interior and exterior of the home are both very attractive - a lovely garden. Spotlessly clean. The staff provided excellent care for my husband and exceptional care when he was dying. He was surrounded by love both from family and carers. He had constant attention and pain relief. He had a comfortable adjustable bed. The environment was so soothing with soft music, calm video footage, a view of the garden, even an essential oil diffuser. The family stayed with him the whole day and provided with support, care, and meals. During his stay, his cat was a welcome visitor!
