Linden House breaks new ground while building on the traditional charm of its seaside location in Lymington.

Residents enjoy companionship and can join in with singing, music, exercise and arts and crafts sessions. There is the opportunity for gentle gardening activities in the summer sunshine, and there is a busy pen pal scheme.
The home is registered for nursing care and staffed by dedicated nurses and health care professionals with extensive experience in caring for age-related conditions and fully trained in infection control.

I have been visiting at Linden House for over a year. I have always found the facility clean, neat and well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming at all times and are happy to offer coffee or a meal. It's fantastic that I an visit at any time. There is often entertainment going on
when I visit. The residents are always happy, food portions are generous + look amazing.

As a family we are incredibly grateful that we entrusted Linden House with the care of our mother during the final three years of her life and later with our stepfather in his final few months of life. From the very first day, the staff made us feel welcomed and reassured. The atmosphere is bright,
comfortable and thoughtfully designed for residents with dementia, it's safe and accessible with plenty of activities and trips in the minibus. Medical care is first class. We received regular updates about our mother's + step fathers health and well-being. We can't thank the entire team for their exceptional care and support they provided for our family.

The staff at Linden House are a fantastic team. They took care of dad, so well, but also found time to be there for me. I thank them all. Trusting a loved one to someone else is an incredibly patient and tolerant, when I was over demanding.
The rooms are large and comfortable and the whole house is
well maintained.
I can't praise Linden House enough!

We as a family can't fault the care my mum received during her respite stay at Linden House, the staff were always friendly, kind and helpful, mum enjoyed the activities (and the food!) The only reason we moved her was because her dementia was not as severe as many others in there and we felt that she
needed a slightly lower level of care overall.

My husband has been at Linden House for the last 6 weeks for respite care. He has been here for respite care before.
I cannot praise and thank all the staff at Linden House enough. They are all, without exception, simply amazing and so patient, so caring and friendly and I would have no hesitation
in leaving my husband here again knowing he is in safe hands and well cared for. Dementia in all it's forms is challenging and the staff all very professional and very kind. Thank you.

Linden House is quite remarkable, and it provides great care and a wonderful environment for people living with dementia. They looked after mum so well but they also looked after us. The staff team kept us fully informed about mum's care and of any changes in her condition and were very supportive.

When my friend had to make the hard decision of being unable to keep her mum safe at home, I supported her in finding the right care home to care for her mother, who sadly was suffering from vascular dementia. When we walked through the doors at Linden House we had a warm welcome from the Reception
and Management Team, which put us at ease straight away. We were shown around the home, and had a very imformative meeting on what the home could offer. We were very impressed, along with all staff members we came into contact with, they all looked very happy in their role, and treated those residents we saw along the way, with a kind, caring and nurturing manner. The support my friend received from the staff when her mother moved in was amazing, making a difficult situation a little easier, knowing that her mum would be well looked after. I would really have no issue in recommending Linden House to anyone needing dementia care..

My mum lived at Linden House for the last year of her life after losing my dad.
She was always treated with kindness, fondness and respect at all times.
She loved all the music, dancing and art activities and took part in all of them as well as her weekly mini day trips.
I have a lovely video
of mum dancing to music on the Wednesday before she sadly passed away. We will always treasure this as she looked so happy which was a testament to the care by the wonderful staff at the home.

Always greeted at the reception in a friendly and helpful manner.
All the staff are pleasant to engage with and deal with the residents

From the very first meeting with staff of Linden House, I was extremely impressed with their professionalism, compassion and guidance. It can be a frightening and bewildering situation for all concerned and the support provided by Linden House is very comforting. The home offers bright and airy rooms
which you are encouraged to make them feel like home. The staff are nicely presented and are always smiling and know each resident by their Christian name. Drinks and cakes and biscuits are always available and the residents are offered "show plates" on meal times to display the options available. Plenty of activities are carried out during the days as well as trips out locally. You can rest easy knowing your loved one is being well looked after and are safe. I would highly recommend this facility.

My Dad was at Linden House from April 2024 until January 2025. The care he received was amazing. All staff were very kind and caring towards Dad and very welcoming when we visited. The nursing staff were very good at keeping us up to date with Dads condition and were so lovely. One member of staff in
particular was incredibly kind with Dad and helped my brothers and I at a particularly difficult time. It was very hard putting him in a home but we were very happy knowing he was being well looked after. I would recommend Linden House to everyone who has a parent or partner with Dementia. It is 'outstanding' for a reason.

From the welcome at reception to the fond farewell, one has the perception that all is well within.
Care staff do attend to my wife with patience and dedication and generally meet her needs as required.
I am happy to have my wife spend her final days in Linden House. She will be well looked after.

Linden House is an excellent care home. Everything is done with kindness and consideration, from the management and administration to the care itself. Finding the right environment for a family member living with dementia can be a troubling experience. But at Linden House there is a high level of expertise
backed by values of compassion and respect. You and your loved ones are in safe hands. For residents, it is also a very engaging environment with lots of carefully thought-through activities and stimulation. Everything seems to be done with a kind smile.

My mother has only been at Linden House for 6 weeks and we are very pleased with everything. The staff are exceptional and very friendly and responsive. We feel that Mum has settled in very quickly and is happy as we know that she is being well cared for. I am sure that as time goes on and Mum gets

My mum has been in the home for 3 years, and her dementia and frailty increased. The nursing and care staff are caring and kind, meeting her needs and communicating changes or concerns with her health to me. Concerns I have are always well-addressed and transparently communicated. Housekeeping staff
are friendly, helpful and hardworking. The reception staff are welcoming, and eager to please and help. Managers are approachable and friendly with a great listening ear. I would definitely recommend Linden House as a care provider for dementia, to others.

Mum is very well cared for. She is amazed at how things go on, even if sometimes she's not sure how it happens. Mum's life is all a big guess and she describes it as 'interesting'. On those particular occasions, Linden House is her foundation. Mum says it's an experience in human nature!

I always thought home was better until I discovered Linden House. Mum has been very happy there for the past almost 10 months. She has a lovely room and particularly enjoys and is mentally stimulated by the weekly activities and Christmas/summer parties. I visit most days and find the carers kind and
helpful.
