Linden House

Throughout our experience at Linden House, we felt the level of care was well above normal. We expected high standards and we were not let down. The whole team provided my Father with the best care possible.

Linden House are very much known for being a community orientated home for older people living with dementia. On the days I am in linden House those coming into the 'care home' are extremely encouraging and are clearly focused on the residents and visitors having an enjoyable and safe time. The companions and volunteers are an incredible team who treat the residents with the utmost care and dignity. I consider it an absolute privilege to volunteer. The activities are chosen carefully focusing on cognition and enjoyment.

My mother entered Linden House having had a terrible experience in her previous home. Almost immediately mum was helped with her symptoms and the transformation in her health and mental ability was staggering. Linden House has given us, her family, the reassurance that mum is safe and well cared for which has made our lives more peaceful. Thank you so much for giving us parts of our mum back.

Our dad Giuseppe has been cared for at Linden House for the past year, he sadly passed away on this past Tuesday.

The WHOLE team have been amazing, thier care and compassion shines through. Giuseppe was settled very quickly into home life, the team ensured we were updated of any changes in his mental or physical health in real time. They understood how hard it was for the family to move dad out of the family home and supported us throughout the transition.

Dad always looked content and well cared for, the team respected his boundaries, and didnt force activities on him, they adjusted his diet to accomodate his likes and dislikes, and on his birthday learnt how to say happy birthday in italian, this means so much more than they could know.

I cannot possibly name everyone, but this is for everyone at Linden house....THANK YOU.

Especially, Subhi and Rosemary who provided such amazing support towards the end of his fabulous and well lived life.

I cannot fault the way my husband has been treated at Linden House. Every member of staff has been kind, caring, efficient and professional. They all made an effort to learn our names and even find drawing equipment for our 3 year old granddaughter. I recommend Linden House very highly.

The home provides a warm, safe and welcoming environment where residents are treated with dignity and respect. The staff are attentive, compassionate and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported. Facilities are clean and well maintained, with a variety of activities that help residents stay engaged. It is a reassuring place for both residents and their families, offering high quality care.

I cannot recommend Linden House highly enough! Not only is it a wonderful space, but the people are skilled, caring and so, so kind. The book on Reception states 'we live by our values' and having visited at all times of the day, they truly do. The professionalism and compassion is evident across all teams of staff as is the consistent, calm and positive ethos set by the leadership team. For me, it feels as if my Dad is not in a home, but at home!

When my mother began experiencing severe symptoms of dementia, she was transferred to Linden House in Lymington. From the moment she arrived, the staff showed remarkable dedication to helping her feel calm and comfortable. They were consistently kind, gentle, and compassionate, even in the face of her difficult and challenging symptoms. Our family will always be deeply grateful for the care and compassion they provided, and for ensuring that her passing was peaceful and dignified.

Living in Linden House is a comfortable experience, with large communal rooms and spacious individual rooms. A variety of food options are available each day, as are a range of activities and trips.

Food is lovely. The staff are excellent and amazing as what they have to deal with is considerable.

Every member of staff is welcoming and kind, they are responsive and take every care with residents. They make huge efforts to engage with dad and to try and draw him out - his world has opened up a lot since moving in.

I have been visiting at Linden House for over a year. I have always found the facility clean, neat and well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming at all times and are happy to offer coffee or a meal. It's fantastic that I an visit at any time. There is often entertainment going on when I visit. The residents are always happy, food portions are generous + look amazing.

As a family we are incredibly grateful that we entrusted Linden House with the care of our mother during the final three years of her life and later with our stepfather in his final few months of life. From the very first day, the staff made us feel welcomed and reassured. The atmosphere is bright, comfortable and thoughtfully designed for residents with dementia, it's safe and accessible with plenty of activities and trips in the minibus. Medical care is first class. We received regular updates about our mother's + step fathers health and well-being. We can't thank the entire team for their exceptional care and support they provided for our family.

I can't praise Linden House enough!

We as a family can't fault the care my mum received during her respite stay at Linden House, the staff were always friendly, kind and helpful, mum enjoyed the activities (and the food!) The only reason we moved her was because her dementia was not as severe as many others in there and we felt that she needed a slightly lower level of care overall.

I cannot praise and thank all the staff at Linden House enough. They are all, without exception, simply amazing and so patient, so caring and friendly and I would have no hesitation in leaving my husband here again knowing he is in safe hands and well cared for. Dementia in all it's forms is challenging and the staff all very professional and very kind. Thank you.

Linden House is quite remarkable, and it provides great care and a wonderful environment for people living with dementia. They looked after mum so well but they also looked after us. The staff team kept us fully informed about mum's care and of any changes in her condition and were very supportive. We could not have put mum anywhere better. Thank you Linden House.

When my friend had to make the hard decision of being unable to keep her mum safe at home, I supported her in finding the right care home to care for her mother, who sadly was suffering from vascular dementia. When we walked through the doors at Linden House we had a warm welcome from the Reception and Management Team, which put us at ease straight away. We were shown around the home, and had a very imformative meeting on what the home could offer. We were very impressed, along with all staff members we came into contact with, they all looked very happy in their role, and treated those residents we saw along the way, with a kind, caring and nurturing manner. The support my friend received from the staff when her mother moved in was amazing, making a difficult situation a little easier, knowing that her mum would be well looked after. I would really have no issue in recommending Linden House to anyone needing dementia care..

I have a lovely video of mum dancing to music on the Wednesday before she sadly passed away. We will always treasure this as she looked so happy which was a testament to the care by the wonderful staff at the home.
