We are so pleased to have chosen Linden House. My friend settled in quickly and responds well to the care provided. Every time we visit, he is happy, healthy, clean and tidy.
Somehow they seem to have plenty of staff around, they always have time for a chat and nothing is too much trouble. We get
regular calls just to check we're happy with his care, or to let us know they are planning an outing. On one occasion he had fallen and needed a hospital check-up - we were kept fully informed at every step. The home is purpose-built and well-designed, so it feels light and airy. The residents can move about quite freely and yet safely. There are lots of thoughtful ideas to provide stimulation, and a good programme of activities to keep residents engaged.

Lindon House is a beautifully presented dementia care home. The rooms are spacious and every effort is made to personalise them. There are activities everyday and trips out on a minibus frequently. The staff are attentive and caring and know all the residents by name. There is a hairdresser, cafe and
lovely garden with many thanks to stimulating memory. My sister is very happy here.

I am extremely impressed to see that my friend who has only been at Linden House for (2 weeks) has calmed down and is clearly much happier than she was at her previous care home. The staff are mostly excellent and very caring. She can be a difficult person but the staff seem to know how to manage her.
Overall 10/10!

I cannot fault the care and facilities that Linden House provide. They have ensured that what could have been a traumatic transition from my mother's home to care was such a success. My mother is now eating well, and her personal care (including the care of the excellent onsite hairdresser) is excellent.
The activities team are wonderful. My mother is now relaxed and happy again. The group management consistently demonstrates their generosity in financing activities, top furnishings and a wonderful team.

The staff here are lovely. They are friendly and helpful at all times. They are also very patient and kind to the residents. The carers are bright and chatty and take a great interest in the residents and their families. I always feel that my mum gets good care and attention. It has taken a great deal
of worry off my shoulders knowing she is being well looked after.

I felt very comfortable at Linden House. The staff were kind. I loved the roof terrace garden and got lots of exercise watering the plants. I liked walking in the bottom garden and I enjoyed the outings. I would be happy to go back.

When our friend first became a resident of Linden House, she was underweight, hardly ate anything, spent most of her day asleep either in an armchair or in bed, and had no sense of personal hygiene. She was visited by carers three times daily but did not respond to this at all. Being in the care of
Linden House has completely transformed her. She has gained weight, has her hair washed and set regularly, eats regular meals and interacts with the staff and other residents. These changes have been a great relief to us.

My mother recently broke her hip and returned to Linden House straight from the hospital a week and a half after the hip replacement. The staff have been amazing, encouraging and helping her to regain her mobility. She is now able to transfer from her bed to a chair, toilet or wheelchair and walk about
20 metres using a holder. She can access activities and has her meals with the other residents. I am very grateful for their hard work and care towards her.

Linden House is simply wonderful. When a parent needs to go into full time dementia care it can be very painful for the family. Dad was in assisted living for a year and I would leave him after a visit so worried that he would fall or go missing, he then went into a care home in Bristol and I would
leave each time unsure if he was receiving the right care. Then he went to Linden House. When I left for a visit last week I realised I was happy. Although he is declining of course, I have total confidence in the staff, totally confident that he is safe, happy, well-fed, and well dressed. In his last care home, he would sometimes be wearing multiple shirts, wrong socks or no socks etc. When I visited last week, and they didn't know I was coming, dad was beautifully dressed in a nice pair of trousers and a short-sleeved shirt. We sat out in the sun with coffee and a promise of a beer with lunch. He waved me off without looking back and I left happy. You cannot ask for more than that.

My mum and my auntie are now both residents at Lindon House.
The staff have been wonderful. From the reception staff through to the carers, everyone has been so kind and helpful.
My aunties life has been transformed. She has embraced the activities and seems so happy. She loves having her hair done
each week. My mum has become a resident more recently and is being shown all the care and attention she needs. I can now relax in absolute confidence that my relatives are in very safe hands.

The staff are committed, patient, kind and caring and professional, from the management and administrators to nurses and carers. They are all excellent. The building is modern, light, and spacious with a lovely garden. The food is good and great care was taken to make my husband's meals gluten-free.

Linden House is a wonderfully caring, dedicated dementia care home.
Every member of staff showed a genuine interest in my mum, I found them all to be excellent and I felt part of the Linden House 'family' whenever I visited her, which outside of lockdown was at least three times a week.
The companionship
team and music therapist were fantastic and a great source of motivation and stimulation for my mum which was very important as she had been a regular churchgoer and loved to sing in the Linden Voices choir.
The home is always very clean and tidy and also has a wonderful garden and roof terrace as well as private lounges.
The food menu is always varied and of an excellent standard with the staff going out their way to provide another option if required.
My mum was expertly and lovingly cared for over two and a half years and I will be ever grateful for everyone making the latter years of her life as comfortable and as normal as possible.
