Overall Experience

My Dad was at Linden House from April 2024 until January 2025. The care he received was amazing. All staff were very kind and caring towards Dad and very welcoming when we visited. The nursing staff were very good at keeping us up to date with Dads condition and were so lovely. One member of staff in particular was incredibly kind with Dad and helped my brothers and I at a particularly difficult time. It was very hard putting him in a home but we were very happy knowing he was being well looked after. I would recommend Linden House to everyone who has a parent or partner with Dementia. It is 'outstanding' for a reason.

Linden House is an excellent care home. Everything is done with kindness and consideration, from the management and administration to the care itself. My mother has only been at Linden House for 6 weeks and we are very pleased with everything. The staff are exceptional and very friendly and responsive. We feel that Mum has settled in very quickly and is happy as we know that she is being well cared for. I am sure that as time goes on and Mum gets used to the change, we will have even more good things to say about Linden House.

My mum has been in the home for 3 years, and her dementia and frailty increased. The nursing and care staff are caring and kind, meeting her needs and communicating changes or concerns with her health to me. Concerns I have are always well-addressed and transparently communicated. Housekeeping staff are friendly, helpful and hardworking. The reception staff are welcoming, and eager to please and help. Managers are approachable and friendly with a great listening ear. I would definitely recommend Linden House as a care provider for dementia, to others.

I always thought home was better until I discovered Linden House. Mum has been very happy there for the past almost 10 months. She has a lovely room and particularly enjoys and is mentally stimulated by the weekly activities and Christmas/summer parties. I visit most days and find the carers kind and helpful.

From the outside, Linden House appears like a hotel but once inside, the warmth and care generated from the reception and staff is very evident. On my first visit, I felt like a VIP. All my questions were answered and I had a lovely tour around the whole of the building, which was very impressive. Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff in making my husband's stay a happy one. I get regular reports on my husband's care which is very reassuring. He enjoys his outings in the minibus and the excellent indoor activities. There are no restrictions on visiting times, which is excellent.

There can't be many dedicated dementia homes, but Linden House must be one of the best.

For 7 years you provided brilliant care for my mother. She was safe and content as well as being entertained! We knew that she could not have been in better hands, the whole team at Linden House showed her great kindness and you cared for her with great skill and kindness right up to the end of her life. For me and the rest of my mother's family and friends, it meant we did not have to worry. We had absolute confidence that all her needs were catered for. Linden House is a wonderful and loving environment.

Since being a resident in March this year, all staff have gone above and beyond what I would have thought possible to settle Mum into a care home environment. Our mother has thrived on the companionship, numerous activities and frequent mini-bus trips. The staff treat all residents with the greatest of respect and in doing so Mum has been enthused about staying in Linden House, becoming less anxious about various concerns.

Thank you to all staff for their outstanding care and support to Mum and family.

We are so pleased to have chosen Linden House. My friend settled in quickly and responds well to the care provided. Every time we visit, he is happy, healthy, clean and tidy.

Somehow they seem to have plenty of staff around, they always have time for a chat and nothing is too much trouble. We get regular calls just to check we're happy with his care, or to let us know they are planning an outing. On one occasion he had fallen and needed a hospital check-up - we were kept fully informed at every step. The home is purpose-built and well-designed, so it feels light and airy. The residents can move about quite freely and yet safely. There are lots of thoughtful ideas to provide stimulation, and a good programme of activities to keep residents engaged.

Lindon House is a beautifully presented dementia care home. The rooms are spacious and every effort is made to personalise them. There are activities everyday and trips out on a minibus frequently. The staff are attentive and caring and know all the residents by name. There is a hairdresser, cafe and lovely garden with many thanks to stimulating memory. My sister is very happy here.

I am extremely impressed to see that my friend who has only been at Linden House for (2 weeks) has calmed down and is clearly much happier than she was at her previous care home. The staff are mostly excellent and very caring. She can be a difficult person but the staff seem to know how to manage her. Overall 10/10!

I cannot fault the care and facilities that Linden House provide. They have ensured that what could have been a traumatic transition from my mother's home to care was such a success. My mother is now eating well, and her personal care (including the care of the excellent onsite hairdresser) is excellent. The activities team are wonderful. My mother is now relaxed and happy again. The group management consistently demonstrates their generosity in financing activities, top furnishings and a wonderful team.
