Booked two weeks respite care after total knee replacement - best idea I've ever had - I live on my own although I have a wonderful partner - but he has his own home in Wiltshire. His sister lives next door but her husband has Alzeimers - so he has to be there to support her.

Everyone is so kind + friendly & happy to be here. Not like the hospital!!

Without Bourne View my mother would not have had the eye drops administered 4x a day correctly to enable her to return home after a cateract operation.

The home and most importantly the people are excellent.

My mother came to Bourne View for respite care after 3 months of being in hospital with chest infections. From the moment I contacted Bourne View they listened to the situation I was at with my mother and helped me to see a way forward. All the staff have been wonderful, helpful and nothing too much trouble. My mother has now fully recovered and is stronger and mobile, she is like a changed person. I can not convey how this stay at Bourne View has saved her life and given her the independence back that she craves.

My relative came into the home for respite care following a fall and stay in hospital. From the initial home visit to the send off on the last day, she received wonderful care and attention. All the staff, from care to kitchen, hair and nails, to the cleaners, everyone has made her feel cared for, and it was all we could have wanted while she recovered. She is now settled at home, all the better for the rest she has had and the great experience she had.

After checking other facilities I visited for a tour of the facilities here and had no reservation about the place, I was allowed to pick my room, it became apparent from the 1st day that all the staff were there for your requirements everyone was polite all spoke to you. The menus gave you a good selection and the catering/waitressing personel were prompt and efficient, activities were well organised by the the team I did a 5 weeks restbite stay and would recommend them to anyone requiring the service.

The friendly receptionist gave some very helpful suggestions as to what/where/how we could take my brother in law to give him some time away from the home. Also the staff all seem to know him well and understand what he likes and dislikes. They usually manage to put a smile on his face.

Our family have been so pleased with care given at Bourne View. Nothing is too much trouble. My brother always looks clean and presentable. The staff always find time for us when we need them.

My brother is not the easiest to feed, but the receptionist took time to get someone from the kitchen to go through his likes and dislikes. Hoping to improve his meal times. Above and beyond.
