I have just spent the last month convalescing from a hip operation at Bourne View. The care I received was of the highest standard. All the staff, day and night, could not have been more caring and certainly helped with my speedy recovery from my operation. I must compliment the design team, they have
made Bourne View a lovely venue, be it for a short-term or long-term stay and I think it is quite unique.

I refer to my stay at Bourne View, as a 'land-based cruise', with a first-class crew! I was treated with care by all the staff. Unfortunately, the activities were not well attended by the residents. However, an enjoyable respite stay.

Very friendly, caring, kind and willing staff whose sole purpose seems to want you to be happy and enjoy your stay as much as possible. Good food with self-selection menus daily. Plenty of activities every day, together with regular outings on the home's minibus.

My husband was a resident in Bourne View for two weeks which covered the Christmas period. Because of covid, it was not possible to visit for the first week, but as my husband became more and more mentally disturbed, they made it possible for me to see him. The staff are amazing and could not have been
kinder under the very difficult circumstances. Thank you all.

All staff are very caring and kind. The nursing team are fantastic. The menu is varied, but alternatives are always available, food is lovely. There are plenty of optional activities and outings. The home is very clean.

My sister and I would highly recommend Bourne View; the care and attention our Mum receives is of a very high standard. The facilities and food are excellent. Our Mum has been a resident for six months now and particularly enjoys the entertainment, varied activities and minibus trips. All the staff

I was a short term resident on rehab following hip surgery. There is very little I can say in addition to my rankings. An experience most enjoyable and Colton Care will be top of my list should I need respite or permanent care in the future.

Having undergone a semi-serious operation, I needed somewhere to stay as I was enough to look after muscle for some weeks. I chose Bourne View and was glad I did so. A beautiful well-furnished building, friendly staff, good food - what more did I want? Highly recommend.

On behalf of my wife and I, we can say without any hesitation that the choice of Bourne View for my Mum's care has been one of the best decisions we have ever made. It is easy to be inspired with the overall look of a building, it's decor and the comfort of resident's rooms (which Bourne View enjoys
in abundance) but what really makes the Home stand out is the exceptional atmosphere created by the staff. At every level from Manager to Nursing, Care and support staff we are always humbled by the kindness and caring ways shown by the staff looking after Mum. If any matters are raised by us they are dealt with promptly and nothing is too much trouble.


For us the magic ingredient will always be about staff and attitude. The staff at Bourne View are simply the best we could ever have hoped for and it is they who keep my Mum happy and content - and us too!!

During a very difficult time with Covid it has been a comfort to me to know that mum has been cared for to an extremely high level. Special praise should be given to the clinical team; those who ensure mum is entertained; the receptionist who is always so knowledgeable and friendly and to the carers.
So pleased that mum and I decided that Bourne View should be her new home.

I will always be grateful to all staff, carers, nurses, cooks, cleaners, gardener, office staff, etc, for their wonderful care of mum, even during Covid-19. They truly loved Mum as was clear throughout her time there, but even more so when we shed tears together at Mum's passing on Monday. Thank you

I am very happy to say I am looked after by a very dedicated team of carers who have given me total support, not just in the daytime, but throughout the night, when necessary, which is so reassuring. The home has a lovely atmosphere and the staff make this a very loving and caring place to live in.
