My mother has been a resident here for nearly 6 years and has gradually required more care and attention from all areas of the staffing facilities

Overall the quality of care is first class from the first experience at reception to the caring and openness of the carers/nurses. As a relative who visits at least twice a week, I can state that I wouldnt wish for my mum to be anywhere else. The cakes are good too!

Since becoming a resident in 2019, the standard of Mum's care has remained consistently high. The staff are caring and nothing ever seems to be any trouble. I recently attended the gala evening and the food was comparable to a first-class restaurant. Mum continues to enjoy her food even though her appetite has diminished. Unfortunately, Mum is unable to attend many of the numerous activities offered however she is visited in her room for regular chats by the companionship team which she enjoys and looks forward to. Mum is pleased to say she is very happy here - a great choice and a well done to all the staff at Bourne View.

First impressions were the cleanliness of the whole place and the decor - fantastic! Staff in all departments were first-class and always with a smile - from the time they started their shift until they finished their shift. Food was excellent, encouraged to participate in all of the activities.

So good to be able to have hair and nails done during my stay. A first-class hotel but made to feel at home.

From start to finish, Bourne View Care Home has consistently been just awesome. They are caring, friendly and management is always free to help, My friend was very nervous about coming to the home and found it very confusing. The manager and his team helped greatly in making the transition as easy as possible and their caring help made the process faultless.

The care, compassion and empathy shown towards our Mum during her final weeks of life was second to none. The staff went above and beyond, both day and night, to maintain Mum's comfort and pain management during some very difficult times for her. When we first visited we were warmly welcomed and reassured that we could look upon Bourne View as a home from home for Mum as well as ourselves and we always felt that this was the case. We wouldn't have wanted Mum to be anywhere else. She was able to spend her final days knowing that her family could be with her whilst receiving the best possible care. Thank you.

Mum moved here as we could no longer cope at home. From the first telephone call to arrange her admission, we have all been made to feel part of the family at Bourne View. Mum's care here is fabulous, she is very comfortable in her room and the staff, each and every one of them make her feel special. Bourne View is beautifully kept inside and out and above everything, the staff are smiley and very approachable and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you all.

From the moment you walk through the door, you feel a home of warmth, comfort and community. The staff greet you by name, are always welcoming, friendly and with a smile on their faces. Nothing's too small and everyone always willing to assist. To have to put your parent into a home is a very hard decision to make. Bourne view have made this transaction smooth and very supportive at all times. When I leave, I know my mother is in very safe hands and happy. An amazing care home with amazing staff.

Everyone is catered for, from the residents to respite and post-operation. The quality of care is superb. All the staff from all departments are caring, friendly and unobtrusive. The food caters for all tastes and diets, with fresh fruit and veg available. The building is art deco and first impression, overwhelming. Just like living in a 5-star hotel.

All staff are so friendly, warm, nurturing and genuinely caring. Mum has found it difficult leaving her own home, however, with encouragement and kindness from staff, she is now able to participate in activities/outings and eat in the dining room. The staff have attended to Mum's health needs with the highest standard and compassion. The compassion is extended to all the family. The whole Bourne View team are incredibly welcoming and friendly.

The home is a lovely environment in which to live. It looks lovely, facilities are great, food is excellent, but more importantly, all the staff are caring and loving towards all the residents. I have seen this with my mum as well observing staff interacting with lots of other residents. The residents are treated and respected as loved family members. It's reassuring and heart warming. We are so pleased to have found Bourne View.
