I am so grateful for the fantastic care my mum received during her time at The Aldbury.
Every single staff member you came into contact with there was incredible.
The cleanliness is top notch, so is the food. There are so many activities for the residents and a wonderful hairdresser there too.
The nursing team are so knowledgeable and help you feel at ease.
It has such a homely feel, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I will forever sing their praises, and I'm very thankful I got extra time with my mum because of their fantastic care.

The care and support given to mum was exceptional. She was treated with kindness and dignity, even when she was being challenging. The staff gave their all to try to keep her eating - they couldn't have done more for her. I would recommend The Aldbury 100%

Our Mum stayed at The Aldbury for seven months before we lost her.
I, and my brother and sister, cannot thank the Manager, Clinical Lead, nurses, carers and all the other staff for the excellent care she received during her time with you.
The Aldbury is really a home from home, with its happy environment and caring staff. Mum was treated as part of The Aldbury family, as were we when we visited. Nothing was too much trouble and any request was met with a smile from each member of staff.
We truly got our Mum back during the short time she was there. She was in good spirits for the majority of the time and her sense of humour returned.

The Aldbury is exceptional and I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone searching for an outstanding residential home for their loved one.

I cannot fault the love & care my Dad received from all the staff at Aldbury. He was only with them for a short while before he passed, but he was greeted with such warmth & love, as if he had been there for years. Everyone at the home is so welcoming, they fill the home with joy and nothing is too much trouble. The residents are so well cared for & there is always something going on to entertain. In the last few days of my dads life both myself & my brother stayed by Dad's side, we were so well looked after, the staff were so kind & caring, we couldn't have wished for a lovelier team to help us in those difficult hours. They truly are angels.

I am absolutely bowled over by the wonderful care my mother received during the years she lived at The Aldbury. Everyone was kind, patient and cheerful and I always felt she was in good hands, particularly in the last few weeks of her life when she was so beautifully cared for. She always smelled clean, fresh and fragrant, with beautiful hair. I thought about her with great happiness, knowing she was being minded so beautifully. Money can't buy the love and affection she was given, and I thank you all so much for loving and caring for her.

Mum spent 3 happy years at this wonderful care home. She was treated with constant kindness, patience, and affection by all the staff and carers and nurses. This is a place that communicates well between staff, carers, nurses, relatives and the resident. It was Mum's home, and the people around her, her family, who gave her the greatest reassurance that she was seen, heard and included in daily activities and choices. Her end of life care was exemplary and I felt especially looked after as well, at this time. I could not have asked for anything more for my Mum at The Aldbury during her time there, she was happy, safe, calm and at home. Thank you to all at The Aldbury.

We chose The Aldbury because we felt it was the most suited to my husband's needs, and we were not disappointed! In every respect we have been satisfied with every level of care, realising what a complete change it is for the patient to leave the familiarity of home to be cared for by others. The level of care, relaxed, happy atmosphere; personal touch; consideration towards family - not to mention the cleanliness, good food etc is exemplary. Well done everyone who contribute to such an excellent care home.

My husband stayed at The Aldbury Care Home for two weeks respite care in December 2024. He was very happy and safe, and found the staff and standard of care very much to his satisfaction. The layout of the building is very user-friendly, in that residents walk in a circle around a large common room, where daily activities are held and music recitals take place. The home has a very welcoming aspect, with plenty of natural light coming in, especially into the common room. The staff are conscientious and dedicated. I am so pleased to have found The Aldbury and wish all its staff and residents well for the future. I would not hesitate to send my husband there again.

We have been very happy with all the care our relative has received (2 years). He was happy and settled well. All the care and activities were excellent and consistent with all staff. For his last days, he was given kindness and compassion and had expert care. We were supported well. This has all meant a lot to us whilst we were not living locally. We felt that all the homes' staff, including management, reception and domestic worked hard as a team with good communication all around. This made it a home that was happy and inviting. The staff worked enthusiastically for the residents. The garden was amazing.

The Aldbury is the best care home I've ever gone to and the one my mum liked the best on viewing, this made it very easy to choose this home as the best place for mum to move to. Mum has mild/moderate dementia and the staff have gone above and beyond to make her feel welcome. I cannot fault a single thing about the home. Every single member of staff is exceptional no matter who they are from managers to carers, reception staff, activity staff, nurses, cleaners etc, every single one is always kind, helpful, caring and cheerful. I absolutely love visiting mum and she is really well settled. The food is excellent, there's regular tea and cake as well as the meals, a little café and really lovely gardens. I would not hesitate to recommend the home to anyone who has the need for a care home, it is exceptional!

I am writing this review following the recent passing of my father who spent time at The Aldbury Care Home for in excess of two years, firstly as a daily visitor and more recently as a full time resident.
From the first day my father spent at the home, the staff were incredibly attentive and respectful. They worked with him on a personal level, always ensuring his needs were met.
The home is well-maintained and provides a comfortable living environment. The rooms were clean, and the common areas were welcoming. The overall atmosphere felt like a place where my father could feel safe and cared for.

My father's medical needs were met with thorough attention, and any concerns we had were addressed promptly. The staff also took care to ensure he was emotionally supported, with activities and companionship that helped him stay engaged. He particularly enjoyed his day trip to the Beaulieu Motor Museum.
