My husband was here before me and the care received was excellent, particularly when knowing the fact that most staff have been here for 20 years speaks for itself.

My Mum has been resident at Court Lodge for nearly a year. I now have peace of mind that she is safe, healthy and is being well cared for. I live very close to the home so can pop in whenever I like. What really strikes you when you walk in, is how friendly all the staff are. From walking in the
front door to reaching my mums room on the 1st floor, I receive so many warm greetings. It's a very relaxed, homely atmosphere. I'm always offered a cup of tea and if I'm lucky a glass of Prosecco on occasions! From what I witness, the care is very good. The staff are polite and residents are treated with great dignity. One of the outstanding areas is having a team of staff dedicated to providing activities for the residents. My Mum chooses not to join in with much in the home, but staff try to encourage her or they take activities to her room. They even lay on weekly outings. Thank you to all staff for all you do. It's very hard work but you always do it with a smile
Reply from Rebecca Hannam, Home Manager at Court LodgeThank you for your kind words. We're delighted to hear your mum feels safe, well cared for, and at home at Court Lodge, and that our team's warmth and dedication have made a positive difference. Your appreciation means a great deal to us.

I am so impressed by the care and kindness shown to my father. The staff got to know him and understand his sense of humour very quickly, and how he is increasingly showing his great age, they remain endlessly patient and helpful. His choices are respected while he still receives the support he needs.
He loves the food and never complains about a thing. I also feel well supported. They are very quick to respond to any pain.

My mother had a chest infection after Xmas it left her feeling very depressed. I can't express how patient the staff have been with mum. They sat with her, prayed with her, hugged her, and have just been there for her. Mum is now feeling better and we can't thank the staff enough.

Mum has been at St Catherine's View for three years now, and the care for her has been exemplary. The staff are quick to spot if there's an issue and move to resolve it swiftly. There's a welcoming, loving atmosphere from reception through to the residents' lounges. The facilities are fantastic, and
the garden is pristine, with plenty of space and seating for residents and their families to use when the weather allows.
The whole operation is first class. I would recommend St Catherines Vew to anyone.

There are not enough words to say how thankful I am to all the staff and care that Court Lodge showed my mum and me. The dignity, respect and love was everything. My mum became my mum again and I was able to spend everyday with her and our dog too. I will forever be grateful for those 7 months and the
palliative care that was given. You truly are the greatest team and thank you again for everything.

Mum has been a resident for over 2 years. It was so important to us that she was in a place that would take the time and have the right staff to really care and provide for her specialist dementia needs. The staff know and understand what she does and doesn't like, and as her dementia progresses are
adapting to her changing needs. All the staff are friendly and professional. The whole team work together and do a fantastic job with caring for and entertaining the residents. We have regular updates and reviews of how she is doing, as well as discuss any changes needed to Mum's care with the senior nurses. While it is quite expensive you really get what you pay for, great value for money for the level of care taken. We feel that she is very content there and well looked after. It is purpose built with beautiful gardens providing a friendly and safe environment. We have been really pleased with our choice of care home for Mum and would certainly recommend St Catherine's View.

I have been in for a fortnight's respite care and have been really well looked after.
The cleanliness, facilities and staff have all been excellent, the food too and very much enjoyed. I was treated with great kindness and respect at all times, and help was always on hand should I require it. My room

Realising your loved one can no longer live independently in their own home is a harsh reality and so many emotions are laid bare for all. There are anxieties and questions, doubts and tears. So, to be welcomed into Kingfishers, filled with positivity and friendly faces, staff who are never too busy
to listen, and who treat you and your love one with kindness and respect, has been honestly just such a relief. Mum has a beautifully light appointed room, which is always spotlessly clean, and a list of relatable activities should she wish to leave the comfort of it. Family who have visited have nothing but praise either. Thank you!
