Linden House

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Our dad Giuseppe has been cared for at Linden House for the past year, he sadly passed away on this past Tuesday.

The WHOLE team have been amazing, thier care and compassion shines through. Giuseppe was settled very quickly into home life, the team ensured we were updated of any changes in his mental

or physical health in real time. They understood how hard it was for the family to move dad out of the family home and supported us throughout the transition.

Dad always looked content and well cared for, the team respected his boundaries, and didnt force activities on him, they adjusted his diet to accomodate his likes and dislikes, and on his birthday learnt how to say happy birthday in italian, this means so much more than they could know.

I cannot possibly name everyone, but this is for everyone at Linden house....THANK YOU.

Especially, Subhi and Rosemary who provided such amazing support towards the end of his fabulous and well lived life.

Dad loved and was loved x

I cannot fault the way my husband has been treated at Linden House. Every member of staff has been kind, caring, efficient and professional. They all made an effort to learn our names and even find drawing equipment for our 3 year old granddaughter. I recommend Linden House very highly.

Father has been a resident for just over a year and all staff worked hard to make him happy. He enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The red shirts made every effort to include him in activities and walks in the garden. His lack of sight and hearing made this difficult. I cannot fault the care that
he receives even now he is on end of life care. He and his room are always clean.

We just wanted to say a big thank you to you for all the help and advice you gave us before and during Dad's stay at Belmore Lodge. Without you we are not sure how we could have gone forward with his care after a very difficult few months in hospital following his fall at home.
You and all of your
colleagues are all very special people and it was a pleasure to meet you all. Belmore Lodge is a lovely place and we were very pleased with all the wonderful care, help and kindness we received. The last couple of days have been a bit of a challenge you could say trying to settle him in back at home together with making sure we have everything in place but we are slowly getting there I think! Needless to say, we are missing you all but we will keep in touch. Thank you again for everything.
Reply from Janie Wilkins, Home Manager at Belmore LodgeThank you for your kind feedback. My mother has been at Belmore Lodge for 5 months now. Initially for a trial period, she found the home so friendly and relaxing that she didn't want to return home. The staff have been fantastic in getting to know Mum, her likes, dislikes and needs. I have been so impressed that everyone got to know
her so quickly from the reception team to the dining staff, from the companion team to the fabulous nursing team.
It is such a relief to me to know that Mum is so well cared for and nurtured.

St Catherines View

Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My aunt has been a resident at St. Catherines View since late 2024 when her behaviour became more challenging. The staff managed these behaviours well and found the most sympathetic method of care for her.
The staff will always greet you, usually by name and make everyone feel very welcome and included
in this very special family. Each time the care staff felt that there should be a change in my aunts care, there was always consultation, a phone call, a more formal meeting or a catch up during a visit.
The food on offer looks good and there there is a lot of cake to go with the almost continuous flow of tea and coffee.
The gardens are always full of interest and colour and it has been a joy to watch its many changing colours during the seasons. Sitting in the garden when possible has been very enjoyable.
There are a great variety of activities ranging from outings, craft, gardening and music to name a few. The activities my aunt has joined in with she has really enjoyed.
Reply from Vanda Baker, Home Manager at St Catherines ViewThank you for your kind feedback. From the moment I visited Belmore Lodge and met some of the staff I knew this was going to be good for my Father as a respite break. It has a warm and welcoming vibe. All areas are clean and tidy, beautifully decorated. Lovely large lounge, restaurant and garden area with lots of seating. My Father
was nervous first of all but soon started to enjoy himself. Staff were very kind and considerate. He is very much looking forward to another stay at the end of the year. Couldn't be more satisfied with his experience.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I can't praise the home manager and her team at the excellent Court Lodge Care Home more highly. After being resistant to the idea of residential care in favour of remaining in her own home, Court Lodge has been a brilliant step forward for my mother. It is a warm and welcoming care home in a lovely
setting with bright sunny communal areas and a well cared for garden. There are a huge range of activities to cater for a range of interests both in, and outside, the home that are run by the Companionship Team with thoughtfulness and enthusiasm. The Clinical Team are excellent, they liaise regularly with the local GP's and have kept me informed and updated with any health issues that arise. I have also been involved in meetings to establish the most appropriate longer term care plans for my mother with kindness and respect. I can honestly say my experience of Court Lodge has helped me as a daughter to feel supported and enabled me to enjoy my mother's company far more.
Reply from Rebecca Hannam, Home Manager at Court LodgeThank you for your kind feedback. We're pleased Court Lodge has provided such a positive and supportive environment for your mother, and that the team's care, communication and companionship have brought reassurance to you both.

A special thank you to all the amazing staff who help and support my sister-in -law. She has been in Belmore for a long time and has always had fantastic care and support . Even when she is feeling down they chivvy her along and brighten her day. To see her laughing and joking with the carers the

Mum first moved to Kingfishers for respite care but has since become a permanent resident. From our initial enquiry through to the time she moved in, communications have been excellent. Mum is actively encouraged to get involved and is a regular participant in the craft room and on organised day trips
out to local attractions which she loves. The friendliness and gentleness of staff, high quality of care and the feeling of 'being home' are so appreciated by us all. Dogs are welcomed which Mum loves. The activities team offer a great programme of themed events throughout the month. The garden is a particular feature and is a suntrap as well as being beautifully maintained for all to enjoy. The food is varied, nutritious and delicious with guests welcome. We are kept updated of Mum's health on a regular basis. Our Mum was 90 in April and we were able to invite her friends in to Kingfishers to celebrate. We really can't sing Kingfishers praises highly enough. It is a very special place.

My mother was cared for with compassion and patience in the 2 years she stayed in Woodpeckers we never say any member of staff get cross or irritable or behave with anything other than professionalism and empathy. Huge efforts were made like the ambiance of the home, the gardens, the activities and
the food. Her room was small and it was difficult to see how she paid the same rates as those with rooms double the size.
Reply from Anna Edwards, Home Manager at WoodpeckersThank you for your lovely review and for taking the time to share your kind words about the team at Woodpeckers. We are so pleased to hear your mother was cared for with compassion, patience, and professionalism throughout her time with us.
